When Tekking mentioned abandoned island for the broadcast I immediately thought “what if they set up the broadcast at Ohara???” How poetic would that be
20:40 About when Tekking asked wow long do Bonney's effects stick. If she is within the Iron Giant I think that she can sustain her powers indefinitely. Because she is pretty much perpetually in her mid 20s form, so I feel like if she can hold something or if she is in direct contact with something she can keep it up without tiring her at all
As someone who is 1.93m tall... Being short feels like such blessing. Every countertop feels like is too short to comfortably work at, i have to constantly avoid hitting things with my forehead (it already has a little indentation from hitting stuff, that can't be healthy), all chairs and tables also feel a bit too small, your legs will always be inconvenience for you and everyone around you as soon as you sit down. Yeah, i can reach the highest shelf, but reaching lower drawers is a hassle and a half. So be glad you're average height, the world is built to accommodate you, and you specifically.
I'm 6'5" it's hard to find a mattress that my feet don't hang off and it's hard not to mention more expensive to find clothes/shoes that fit the grass isn't always greener
@@blacksonne19 For me I think it's about being on the extreme end of short or tall. I like being tall but I could loose a few inches and be fine with that. I would still be tall but it would be easier to find shirts that fit.
If I had to guess if Vegapunk had a contingency room hidden somewhere ready to spill the beans, I can think of no better place than Ohara. It’s abandoned, no body goes there, probably has the infrastructure, and it’d be poetic
The summoning is similar to how that one tribe thought they summoned brook. They wanted Satan which is similar to Saturn so maybe they were mistaken by their summoning and meant to summon Saturn. Its probably some kind of other ability told down by them from the void century.
Good stuff Matt! It makes you wonder if the Seraphim will go through a reverse of what Kuma went through; they gain a will of their own instead of losing it. It would explain why S-Snake was able to go against her programming when Luffy asked her to change them back
11:07 The boat that Vegapunk sent to escape the island. When Saturn announced he sent marines to sink down Vegapunk was crushed. BUT it got saved by the giants. Here is how I see it. the boat has the "secret of the world" message and gets a signal from Egghead meaning "Vegapunk is alive" (EA a deadman switch). When the Deadman switch stop sending the "all okay" two things happens: 1- the pre-streaming video begins on Egghead to get attention from the world. 2- the actual message on the boat start it's countdown to broadcast. or even better the Egghead signal is blocking it so when it end broadcast the message reach everyone or the Gorosei stop the Egghead signal and only the people on Egghead stay in the dark about "the truth"
I just realized now the ancient robot has a reason to be significant. Maybe it'll help hold off the Gorusei and allow the broadcast to go through uninterrupted.
The older I get the more fun Home Depot becomes. At lowes they have a grabber claw with some "tension bands?" to make the claw slightly stronger. Their claw can pick up a milk jug. (barely) I remember my grandmother used to have a claw and I was (and still am) fascinated by it as a child.
I read a funny basic theory somewhere that says that the transmission is coming from the apple of Vegapunk's head. It will be a funny thing to see and that fits one piece so much.
My guess of the worst is Dory and Brogy die, Luffy is hurt very badly, Nico Robin is kidnapped, York and the Seraphim are retrieving for the Gorosei and the others Vegapunk die.
Speaking of being short look at conzuri shoes. I got a pair and some of the insoles. Added like 3 to 5 inches if you combo them. Or add to regular shoes for a few extra inches.
But bonney said her power is temporary on living things, so it can be said that her power is permanent on objects like when she aged the lock on kuma's door (chapter 1072). So she can probably remove the iron giant's rust permanently.
Oh wow so many interesting thoughts!! I thought that the message potentially wasn't being sent from Egghead, but was like aw no I'm probably just giving myself false hope. But when hearing all of that I remembered that this chapter STARTED with Sabo introducing the concept of basically using a VPN to call Kamabakka via Lulusia. Seems really possible that was a clue? Also feels very worth noting - Oda went out of his way earlier to state that Bonnie's power DOES work permanently on non-living objects. Which to me seems like a set-up for her being able to affect the iron giant permanently...or, based on how her powers function on it, might be a way to show us that it's somehow actually alive.
Something to consider, Sanji mentioned that these circles are just like when Saturn appears. Perhaps he pulls a 3rd Hokage and interferes with one or more of the summoning circles so not all of them make it there. As for how could it realistically get scaled up more, Law and Bepo arrive, and in exchange for promising to save Law's crew Law performs the immortal surgery on Luffy which makes him now heal like the Gorosei.
My bet for where the transmission is coming from: 1. Ohara, or the ruins of Ohara 2. One of the Revolutionary Army's islands 3. Sorbet (kuma connection) 4. Somewhere else entirely
@@zombieturtleiscoolyt yes, but I meant location wise, having someone (maybe Dragon?) turn something on at Ohara or even Kamabaka would make the transmission not on egghead. We shall see
It seems that everyone is sure that the message is coming from the Labosphere, but I would think that Vegapunk would be smart enough to have the VHS playing from a different location. Maybe Dragon's ship or something.
Bro is how everyone forgot about BB. Imagine this, Katarina and Van leave and go to the holy land. Now that all of the elders are here in egghead, if she uses her disguise there is no one who can say no that is not a real elder. So imagine the things they can do there. And last the only person who can verify is Im so what if they run into Im, if Sabo could escape then you know Van can too. So that is a ton of info and prizes for BB
I think that given the big face form of St. Shepherd Ju Peter yokai form is based on a Jikininki a tall thin zombie like spirit with an elongated mouth that is always open and eats people matches the shadowy face very well.
My (kind of out there) theory for Vegapunks' transmission is that he implanted something in either the Satellites, Kuma, or the Pacifistas that are all running the signal. My main pick is the Satellites, and so if even one Satellite stays alive - the transmission will play.
I loved that intro even though I wasn't supposed to listen to it. As a tall guy, I might get a grabber too, but to get things off the ground since it's so far away.
Man just can't tell enough how excited I was for the "Short Kings" intro. I thought u were going to change my life by telling me the secret of getting tall!!! And then there were just "Plastic Crab Hands"😂😂
It seems like Saturn is the shaman or mage of the gorosei, its not that the gorosei has a hivemind with Imu(u can see the contrary when imu told them to test the mother flame on lulusia) and Imu used a transponder snail to communicate with them.Saturn is their link of communication when hes in the lower world away from a transponder snail(only saturn was at god valley too) Worst case scenario is the giant warrior pirates and iron giant getting defeated which means the strawhats has no means of escape, the narrator mentions the EH incident happening so thats a given
@tekking101 just occurred to me that when Kadio said luffy being in a new form was exclusive to zoan type but I think he was just referring too the awaking of a zoan which as seen with luchi goes to his awakened form compared to doflingo and katakuri law and kid who did not change form
That made me giggle and made me kind of happy when you mentioned the girl say aren't pulling that traditional anime trope where if they would have just jumped them from the beginning they would have won but it's anime and they need good fights so they only send one person at a time. That's honestly really refreshing. I have no idea how this arc is going to end. I can't wait to watch this ark in its entirety once it's animated
Signal is coming from the last place the WG would expect, the satellite weapon used to destroy lilusia with the power of the mother flame. Hard to destroy being in the sky, especially since almost nobody knows about it and the few that do wouldnt expect vegapunk to trick them by making the weapon have another purpose.
Bonney specifically asked Dorry and Brogy to go help out Luffy, they're on the way to the place the Gorousei are being summoned. They've been pretty hyped up so I'd assume they can hold off one of the Gorousei each. And yeah, with Bonney's renewed faith and given the history between them, I think she should be the one to hold off Saturn, even if it's just one good hit (I mean, Luffy literally showed her how she should punch Saturn)
There is also the easy lineup of Luffy + Dorry + Broggy + Ancient Giant + Zorro/Jimbei vs. Gorosei and Sanji vs. Kizaru. The Seraphim would be a nice bonus though.
Actually, Bonney’s fruit does seem to work permanently on inanimate objects- she was able to rust away the lock on the door to the room holding Kuma’s memory bubble, that lock didn’t come back later or anything. Since that “Iron Giant” isn’t a living creature, Bonney might be able to permanently turn back the clock on it.
Not if she doesn't know about what it could do. If vegapunk's message talks about this robot/these robots ... But I doubt it. I'm sure she could but won't.
There might also be a limit to how big of an object or a living thing she can affect. We never saw her use it on a giant before but if we do it might work IF she does end up doing it.
@@Martin-yh7vi yeah I could see either a size limit, or maybe a stamina drain affected by both the size of the object and how far she’s turning back the clock on it, with such rules not applying to herself.
Am I the only one stricken with anxiety after seeing the giant pirates show up on egghead? There hasn't been a SINGLE giant W. Not once. Every single time we see a giant fight they get no diffed by a devil fruit power, or they just outright lose in a contest of brute strength and they are always easily beaten speed wise. The only time we saw a giant win in a fight was Hajrudin... barely, and it was only because the plot demanded it. The strongest giant in the series is probably Sanjuan Wolf, and the only giant in the series confirmed to have access to Haki is Vice Admiral John Giant. Jaguar D. Saul: No diffed by Kuzan's DF Dorry and Broggy: Easily dispatched by Baroque Works and Mr. 3's DF Oimo and Kashii: Captured by marines and deceived for many years Jorul and Jarul: Jorul died to child Linlin and Jarul was forced by mother carmel to let it slide Stansen: Captured by a group of kidnappers on Sabaody and put to auction in the slave house John Giant: One shot by Whitebeard Hajrudin: Lost to Lucy, defeated Mach Vise Lacroix, Lonz, and the Giant Squad: Lacroix defeated by Little Oars Jr., Lonz one shot by Whitebeard, and another defeated by luffy Little Oars Jr.: Taken down by Kuma, Doflamingo, Moria, and cannon fire Oars: Died to frostbite (not confirmed), and zombie Oars was defeated by the Straw Hats in an all out struggle (props to oars ig) Big Pan: Slam dunked by Zoro and Sanji's combo move Panz Fry: Captured by marines Lily Enstomach: Defeated Shuzo with Luffys help The Numbers: Easily knocked down by the straw hats Yeti Cool Brothers: Rock is defeated by Franky in Choppers body, and Scotch is bisected by Law Sanjuan Wolf: Captured and locked in Impel Down Morely: Accomplished his goal of destroying the Holy Lands food storage and held off a nerfed Greenbull Giants have 15 L's and 3 W's if you count groups of 2 or more losing at the same time as just one L. That means the giants have an 80% loss rate.
What if "The Summoning" is actually only unique to just Saturn's ability. It's possible that Saturn's ability enables him to summon (teleport) himself/others to and from locations (It's O.P but hey luffy conjured GOGGLES OUT OF NOWHERE). If their powers are actually devil fruit based, that would probably be an ability of his awakening.
i was thinking, what if vegapunk had the message broadcasted from kamabakka kingdom? we saw him and dragon have a convo about vegapunk dying soon, and as you can see in the chapter dragon and sabo dont look surprised and appear to be thinking a lot, so what if vegapunk only told them two about this and got them to transmit the video from there
I honestly think that the transmission is actual a live feed of what is happening at Egghead. Vega Punk wanted the world to know who our what their rulers are.

Wait, what if the satellites take the thing that is transmitting the message and escape while the elders are turning the island upside down and they don’t notice ensuring that egghead will never be used by the government ever again by their own hands while failing in their objective
That’s crazy how tekking knew exactly how long to talk about the video before the end screen came 😮
When Tekking mentioned abandoned island for the broadcast I immediately thought “what if they set up the broadcast at Ohara???” How poetic would that be
vega punk probably put a small amount of kumas memory inside of s bear maybe his younger memories so he can relive his whole life with his daughter.
20:40 About when Tekking asked wow long do Bonney's effects stick.
If she is within the Iron Giant I think that she can sustain her powers indefinitely. Because she is pretty much perpetually in her mid 20s form, so I feel like if she can hold something or if she is in direct contact with something she can keep it up without tiring her at all
To be fair her powers aren't permanent on people, but we're not sure about objects.
I'm 6'5" it's hard to find a mattress that my feet don't hang off and it's hard not to mention more expensive to find clothes/shoes that fit
the grass isn't always greener
6'5" here too.. it's got equal ups and downs
It’s abandoned, no body goes there, probably has the infrastructure, and it’d be poetic
just for this intro alone, I plead you Matt, never change.
That giant robot is prolly going to be a huge help with the Strawhats getting away.... Maybe lol
The people who summoned brook were actually trying to summon the gorosei!
So happy tekking has stayed true as himself for the last so many years, nice to have someone to come back to who’s vibe never changes
The summoning is similar to how that one tribe thought they summoned brook. They wanted Satan which is similar to Saturn so maybe they were mistaken by their summoning and meant to summon Saturn. Its probably some kind of other ability told down by them from the void century.
Tekking: there’s no way to up the ante at this point.
Oda: and that’s when I took things personal…
Good stuff Matt! It makes you wonder if the Seraphim will go through a reverse of what Kuma went through; they gain a will of their own instead of losing it.
It would explain why S-Snake was able to go against her programming when Luffy asked her to change them back
Tekking you did it, Vegapunk now have that quirk of saying "Quasar" in the Anime!!!!!!
11:07
The boat that Vegapunk sent to escape the island.
When Saturn announced he sent marines to sink down Vegapunk was crushed.
BUT it got saved by the giants.
Here is how I see it.
the boat has the "secret of the world" message and gets a signal from Egghead meaning "Vegapunk is alive" (EA a deadman switch). When the Deadman switch stop sending the "all okay" two things happens:
1- the pre-streaming video begins on Egghead to get attention from the world.
Highly doubt Robin ever gets kidnapped again
Idiot theory robin get kidnapped
Bonny can age the Seraphim into a future where they are free so the Gorosei cant command them
Speaking of being short look at conzuri shoes.
I'm 6' and I listened to the intro. I enjoy your voice and rambling Tekking, plus I'm curious to what you're saying
5’11 here & same!! Love Matt so much!
Those grabby hands are also useful for safely relocating snakes.
The transmission is happening out of the RA HQs. That's why Vegapunk called Dragon. that's what I think
My bet for where the transmission is coming from:
1. Ohara, or the ruins of Ohara
2. One of the Revolutionary Army's islands
3. Sorbet (kuma connection)
4. Somewhere else entirely
It's coming from dragon that's why vegapunk told dragon that he is gonna die soon because dragon probably knew about the killswitch
I am not short but I watched the intro. now I have unlimited power
As someone who is 6'6" those claw grabbers are good for picking stuff up from the ground, its a long way down there to the floor.
My grandparents are short and I remember always taking their old grabbers to play with.
I first heard the word "Miasma" when watching Inuyasha on adult swim as a tween.
As a tall enough person I appreciate the video chapters
I think that given the big face form of St. Shepherd Ju Peter yokai form is based on a Jikininki a tall thin zombie like spirit with an elongated mouth that is always open and eats people matches the shadowy face very well.
I liked the word miasma, ever since I heard it on Inu Yasha.
My (kind of out there) theory for Vegapunks' transmission is that he implanted something in either the Satellites, Kuma, or the Pacifistas that are all running the signal. My main pick is the Satellites, and so if even one Satellite stays alive - the transmission will play.
Fun fact, the is the 1000th one piece theory and discussion video in the channel
I loved that intro even though I wasn't supposed to listen to it. As a tall guy, I might get a grabber too, but to get things off the ground since it's so far away.
Tekking forgot to put the yoncook on the reference table!!
OH GOD just like her dad adopted her, who looked like her mom, Bonney might adopt S-Bear, who looks like her dad, as her son. If true, man
Man just can't tell enough how excited I was for the "Short Kings" intro. I thought u were going to change my life by telling me the secret of getting tall!!! And then there were just "Plastic Crab Hands"😂😂
It seems like Saturn is the shaman or mage of the gorosei, its not that the gorosei has a hivemind with Imu(u can see the contrary when imu told them to test the mother flame on lulusia) and Imu used a transponder snail to communicate with them.Saturn is their link of communication when hes in the lower world away from a transponder snail(only saturn was at god valley too)
Worst case scenario is the giant warrior pirates and iron giant getting defeated which means the strawhats has no means of escape, the narrator mentions the EH incident happening so thats a given
0:42 A rally call I never expected to come out of Tekking’s mouth 😂😂😂😂😂
@tekking101 just occurred to me that when Kadio said luffy being in a new form was exclusive to zoan type but I think he was just referring too the awaking of a zoan which as seen with luchi goes to his awakened form compared to doflingo and katakuri law and kid who did not change form
Different paramecia
Lights, Camera, ACTION! I Dr Vegapunk shall reveal the truth of the world
HERE are your so called 5 gorosei
Imagine that luffy can hear what the gorosei were saying the whole time and was just confused. Theyd probably be surprised for sure lol.
Just noticed that the only Vegapunks we see in the recording are those that have died. Clever way to get more from them while keeping them dead
So I've been thinking, is it possible dragon has control of the transmission because that could possibly be why Shaka had called him.
Jaguar D. Saul: No diffed by Kuzan's DF
Dorry and Broggy: Easily dispatched by Baroque Works and Mr. 3's DF
Oimo and Kashii: Captured by marines and deceived for many years
Jorul and Jarul: Jorul died to child Linlin and Jarul was forced by mother carmel to let it slide
Stansen: Captured by a group of kidnappers on Sabaody and put to auction in the slave house
John Giant: One shot by Whitebeard
Hajrudin: Lost to Lucy, defeated Mach Vise
Lacroix, Lonz, and the Giant Squad: Lacroix defeated by Little Oars Jr., Lonz one shot by Whitebeard, and another defeated by luffy
Little Oars Jr.: Taken down by Kuma, Doflamingo, Moria, and cannon fire
Oars: Died to frostbite (not confirmed), and zombie Oars was defeated by the Straw Hats in an all out struggle (props to oars ig)
Big Pan: Slam dunked by Zoro and Sanji's combo move
Panz Fry: Captured by marines
Lily Enstomach: Defeated Shuzo with Luffys help
The Numbers: Easily knocked down by the straw hats
Yeti Cool Brothers: Rock is defeated by Franky in Choppers body, and Scotch is bisected by Law
Sanjuan Wolf: Captured and locked in Impel Down
Morely: Accomplished his goal of destroying the Holy Lands food storage and held off a nerfed Greenbull
Giants have 15 L's and 3 W's if you count groups of 2 or more losing at the same time as just one L. That means the giants have an 80% loss rate.
The elder stars might be using the voice of all things and not telepathy. They might've mastered it through out the yeara
The elders are at the top of the command structure for the seraphim, the only one where may not have them at the highest position would be SBear.
What if "The Summoning" is actually only unique to just Saturn's ability. It's possible that Saturn's ability enables him to summon (teleport) himself/others to and from locations (It's O.P but hey luffy conjured GOGGLES OUT OF NOWHERE). If their powers are actually devil fruit based, that would probably be an ability of his awakening.
i was thinking, what if vegapunk had the message broadcasted from kamabakka kingdom? we saw him and dragon have a convo about vegapunk dying soon, and as you can see in the chapter dragon and sabo dont look surprised and appear to be thinking a lot, so what if vegapunk only told them two about this and got them to transmit the video from there
This video made me realize that the reason the Gorosei doesn’t seem to age might be because of age-age fruit
I honestly think that the transmission is actual a live feed of what is happening at Egghead. Vega Punk wanted the world to know who our what their rulers are.
Piggybacking off the seraphim idea, could Bonney de-age the ancient robot to be brand spanking new?
8:53 the gorosei assemble! 😅
