That beast is well optioned. Even has a sunroof, ram air induction and at 60kph the automatic convertible top is sure too work. Sports mods on it too with a dry sump system and probably external fuel tank.
The lightweight bonnet is bloody mint 👌🏼
And boys, I daily an 85 patrol shorty Mk like the one in the video. They go hard for a leaf sprung rig, great fun! The L28 is mint too, Tim from the skid factory slapped a turbo and EFI setup on his L28 Patrol lol. Good platform

Body is scrap, but definitely worthy of the buy for the engine, gear boxes, and maybe axles on the FJ. That block would look great with a clean up and new oil pan, as well as a rebuilt head.

Once the rocker cover came off…that was next-level rust on the rockers and valve springs. The crankshaft is probably the same after the water.

The 55 looks like it didn't make through the creek and got drowned. Great 4wd in it's day. Drove them up north. Bam the patrol looks like a good base. Too clean to have been abused. Go for it. Thanks gentlemen. Your fantastic.

Yeh that will do it. Well and truly sunk. Almost happened to me. Costly mistake. 😀
Spray the crank and soak it. Make sure the starter works, bump it for very quickly whilst hitting the pistons, so it helps you freeing it off, use wood, not to damage the pistons. You can also be using the gearbox to free the motor-obviously choose a high gear, lift one of the wheels and use suitable bars, levers, etc. Most likely you will be able to free it off like that. You are half way there.
Or, you know, _scrap it._

That nissan is cool. Here is usa. That L28 diesel is big money. The crankshaft is wanted for stroker L28 builds.
Seeing this kind of give me the strength to complete my work. Iam currently rebuilding a 75 sereis Toyata Land Cruiser.😎

I know the junk yard and JDM used parts in Japan that sold parts in pallet in very cheap. These parts are better than American outsources cheap junk! Why don't you consider buying these old JDM from Japan. I did the experiment of JDAM parts when I was poor and unemployed when I was in CA and it work very well financially.

Chop the top off and the pillars except for the front window pillars so can still have a window, take front gaurds off less angle restrictions then weld in a roll gage bammm solid 4×4 38' all terrain tyres

Great video guys. Just wondering if you guys were going to do a full restoration on a car? Like finding old abandoned cars and doing them up to sell for a profit. Heaps of people do this but their all from America with American cars but it would be cool to see you guys tackle it🤙

With another oil pan would intersting to see what diesel fuel can do with the stuck internal of the engine. Just to unstuck it
