You have an A and a B version of the bands, I thought it was for listing a range of scanning within the bands, from A to B ranges, but I just don't get it, any idea? Perhaps I need to follow the band descriptions in the booklet? Help! I upgraded to v0.22 exumer? And you can also get the 220mhz and 500mhz band TX, why? I'm Aussie, but,? Who uses these freqs? Quick question: for the alpine area between Switzerland, France and Italy, if you want to be able to call the rescue, you need to program a VHF radio for the E(mergency) chanel 161.300 MHz and also to set the 5 tons ZVEI2. There should be a speaker symbol on the main screen to indicate that the voice prompt is on. You can try to reset it to factory settings, there's an option to keep stored channels, so be careful to choose the correct steps. Press MENU→51→RESET VFO: Reserve all storage channels. LCD will display “Sure?”, Press the MENU key and wait for the radio to restart.
F3 only lets me change the channel number of a pre programmed channel set. What am I noobing wrong? Edit: F5 is frequency mode on mine, which is weird because mine is the same age as his and same region!

Absolutely, it's the best in this category. Harmonics, signal strength, and firmware are better despite the small learning curve.

It's possible, but not on the factory firmware. You need to flash a new firmware from Github.
