It is God's desire that all men be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth [I Tim. 2:4]. While the church was the instrument used to preach Truth, the church itself rejected the truth and turned away from it. For, the doctrine which is taught and believed today by the Church is NOT the doctrine into which we were baptized. How can one profess to believe God’s Truth, then repudiate it with the flimsy arguments offered by a doctrinal committee? May God give us the courage to always put His truth above the doctrines of men. ‘That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,’ Ephesians 1:17 ‘Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.’ Psalms 86:11
Often times in my experience, truth according to many sda is determined by what the leaders and pastors say according to organizational structure even if is not in accordance with what the word of God say, but according to what the wisdom of Phd's and doctors in theology says. That's why the Apostle Paul counseled us in 2nd Cor. 2:5 to stand in our faith, not by the wisdom of men, but by the power of God.
Sha'ool(Paul) proclaimed that Yahoshuah Ha'Mishiach, Immanuel, is First born of all creation. And in Genesis, Yahoshuah Ha'Mishiach, said to His FATHER, "Let US make man in OUR image..." And in the prayer He taught us, He made sure we all knew to give the FATHER all honor and glory. Even though He had a hand in creating everything and has the authority of government. All one must do is examine the whole of the Scriptures and see the pattern.

Truth is like a cooking recipie. You can know the recipie and never taste the food. You can taste the food and don't know the recipie. Or You can know the recipie and taste the food.
I have two things would like to point out. First point, when the Sanhedrin accused Jesus before Pilate they were telling the truth. John 19:7 “The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.” They were saying the truth, they had a law, and according to the Jewish law, at that time, Jesus was breaking their laws, not God’s law. So what they were saying was the truth. Second point. When you quoted 2Peter 1:20 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” You quoted it correctly but it was not taken in context. What you implied by quoting that is a common interpretation of that verse. The next verse explains it in context, 2Peter 1:21 “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” The word “For” would mean because, explaining what was just written. It is talking about an interpretation of a prophecy given to the prophets of old that they had to write down as it was told to them, not to put their private interpretation on it, but were to write down what was given them.
"Forgive them father for they know not what they do" After Jesus resurrection they either believed or they didn't. Jesus knew they were going to put him to death because of their law of blasphemy
Here I beg to differ. It is exactly opposite. The prophesy was not interpreted by the prophets. It came by the prophets speaking what the holy spirit moved them to speak. Also, Peters "knowing this first" indicates clearely that it is the interpretation of prophesy he adresses, and the "for/because" in the next verse proves his point. The prophets spoke. Those coming after interpret. This is the wonderful life of the Bible. A little here, a little there, line upon line etc. The Bible confirms itself by the threads it connects by itself. Everything is connected and confirmed by the scripture itself. If it does not, it is because we make private interpretations, or because some translator has corrupted it by violating the words as given by the holy spirit, or as bad translated from corrupted manuscripts. The corruptions become clear by the word itself, wether it has light in it or not. Here Peter himself confirms what he means, by the clear "Knowing THIS FIRST" and then his statement, following with the "FOR/(because)" and then giving the reason why. Moving the sequence around IS a personal interpretation, respectfully. This passage is enough exactly as Peter wrote it, moved by the holy spirit, and does not leave any room for turning it upside down. "This first" "For" leaves no doubt of exactly what he means. So as used by the preacher in the clip, of limited time and detail, he presented it correct, and by testing it ourselves, the context is clear "This first" .... "For" Pauls writings are full of such structures, statement, example, if-then, because, if not-then, because etc. Peter also wrote in this same context 2. Pe 1:19 We have also a MORE SURE word of prophesy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts. - And after that he continues "Knowing this first...." and then why "For....." There is even an expended context. Read the whole chapter and notice how he introduces himself, blesses his audience, then he structures everything with these keys that leave no room to interpret anything. Notice the "For" "wherefor" "but" etc. Then he proceedes to speak about what happened on the mount of transfiguration and after that states that we have a MORE SURE word of prophesy whereunto we do well to take heed..... and from there the "Knowing this FIRST....." and confirmed by the "For" This directly ties into v 16 and him explaining they have not followed cunningly devised fables, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty, seeing him receive from God the Father honor and glory, and hearing the voice coming to him from the excellent glory. They heard this voice come from heaven when they were with him on the holy mount. Imagine having experienced that as witness, Peter still writes "we have a MORE SURE word of prophesy" In the total context, the message is clear regarding what he means by the personal interpretation of the more sure word of prophesy, because when we engage in personal interpretation, we corrupt what the prophets spoke moved by the holy spirit. Hereby I respectfully rebuke your personal interpretation and kindly ask you to read that whole chapter following Peters own keywords cementing what he moved by the holy spirit spoke. It is clear as day without putting any interpretation on it, instead of believing exactly what he spoke.
John 16:13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” 1 John 5:6 “This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.” John 15:26 “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” John 4:23 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” Yes and amen.
Interesting lesson Nader, the written word is suppose to be the truth (bible) and that of course depends on which bible you read, which makes learning a full time effort just to find out if each verse your reading is true to Gods Word. The only way to find the truth is by reading and believing what your reading, if one reads a certain bible which denies Christ divinity is that the truth? To believe in and of Jesus is of course the first conclusion one must make, but to find the truth in words written is another thing. And when you say numbers don't count I say they do regarding context of scripture. Their are many that believe the truth of a certain scripture and many that rebuke that truth of those who believe it is the truth. When you read commentaries on certain verses from many well qualified theogiaans throughout the ages one must decide on which is the truth. Again that all depends on ones bible, because everyone says they have Gods Word (BIBLE).
