During the service, the sump guard needed to be removed. So now the crash guard have a mount on sump guard, is it difficult to do an oil change?
Yes... But its easy. One has to unmount same srew as for sump guard from below.
I ordered everything from Moto Torque 😊
Great 👍. I'm picking the best as per my test from different manufacturers.
If we install the other crash guard apart from RE OEM, will our actual warranty be voided? Anyone let me know
No it should not.
@@NomadicGearShifter but the showroom person Said if you install 3rd party crash gaurd if something happens it will void warranty they will not check like that.
Can you please provide some information on this?
I ordered the same crash guard, how much did you pay for installation?
Nice choice. I guess I paid around Rs 300-400...there was some other work as well
From where you got fog lamp mount
Maddog
@@NomadicGearShifter sir one more thing engine oil change krte time kya ye problem create nahi krega as i have seen it has two nuts beneath the bash plate
@prateek_official those bolts are there even in original bash late it has to be removed for servicing.
I have ordered and install this in my Himalayan 450 after seeing your review but after Installing I have observed it,s LHS mounting is ok and their is sufficient gape between radiator and it's engine side mounting but in RHS engine mounting it is touching the radiator . Are you have same issue or there is proper gape ? . It will be helpful for me if you share it's RHS and LHS photos for my reference .thx. in Advance ...
Issue is in Accelerator / Brake side mounting...its mounting is touching Radiator,s back side ...
I'll check and update you.
Any update?
How's is the crash guard now .? Is it worth buying
Go for it. Fortunately no practical usage till now.
what's that dripping out of your radiator at 12:34
Water drops...got it washed just before the shoot 😉. Nice observation.
Did you do the ppf or ceramic ?
Still not... 😀
Will the guard touch the knee?
I'm 5'11" n I have no such issues n I'm sure even 6 ft height guy won't touch his knees with crash guard.
bro this crash guard is connected to your main engine stress point screws... it might be a problem later on
Bro, I have changed the crash guard to original ones. Earlier they were not available, when I bought the bike.
@@NomadicGearShifter should I change it...? I have installed it on my Himalayan
Crash guard price?

Crash guard dalne k baad kitne KM cover kiye? Any issues?
Switched to RE crash guard 2 months back.
@@NomadicGearShifter why?
@@NomadicGearShifter Why did u remove the crash guard?
@@_thegareebbiker_ I wanted to keep bike lighter...that's why I didn't put even saddle stay n I found RE crash guard much lighter. RE Crash guard came much later to service centers.
@@NomadicGearShifter last question, isme engine mount point k sare screws aate hai? Ya original wale he use karne hote hai
