I know y’all are busy, I’m trying to get an answer.
Is a 272 block buildable?
I have a 55 pick-up and want 500 HP out of it.
Is it capable?

292 block is what you need for that kind of power.
Some 272's can be bored to standrard 292, .125" overbore. Do yourself a favor and get a 292 block.
