The cathedral shots would blow your mind if shot with an Intrepid 5" x 4" field camera with amazing tilt and shift. The Ely cathedral shot had less keystone than the National Cathedral shot.
This video is fantastic, because it treats the why and the how, and it pushes us to really see what is important in developing our style. So I am at 1:49:50 looking at the ballerina bt Alexis Cuarezma, I think you said she had a wall behind her, I think it is a v-flat white side and his light stand I think, is hidden behind it and the light is on a boom or maybe a shelf, possibly bare-bulb, with gels wrapped around the head, because the spread is large. There is a very faint hint of a window, so maybe it is on the window sill.
I've been getting a lot of dresses on Poshmark. Designer dresses at unbelievable prices. I usually get models at tfp and give them the dress. Works out great.
