how to ensure that the tension and alignment in pulleys and break disk is correct? In Brazil, I guess we don't have this mark to use as reference... I saw that 1200N means 80Hz of frequency in belt... any additional tip will be welcome :D
This is incomplete. Helpful all the same, but what is the correct tension of the belt? Mine came back way too tight and was making a noise, so I took it back, and then they adjusted it and now the teeth skip when I open the throttle hard.
@@tatagiba I ended up doing myself with a torque wrench, 23mm socket (I think) and two 12mm spanners. But a year later the belt is making squeaking noises. Along with so many other problems and rubbish warranty service from Kymco, I just got rid of the damn thing and got a BMW.
@@ArcanePath360 thanks man, I think this issues can happen, I came from a brand new Gs1250 HP and the headlight level broke, the eletric fuel tank and eletric handlebar lock stopped working, everything before 10.000kms.. But this belt making noise is upsetting. One year working well is great
@@tatagiba I guess nothing is made very well anymore. My RT has cheap handlebar switches. I'm hoping the bike is built to last though. It's 7 years old so far. I think things that old were made better.
Thank you!
