I almost died from the heat in Sudan 🇸🇩 vA 25

- I leave the cafeteria of the previous video, and I continue my way to the pyramids of Meroe. When I arrive, I almost collapse... I went beyond all my limits, and my body stop functioning properly.
Somehow I recover, and I go to sleep and recharge my batteries in a nearby cafeteria. The next day, I find myself still exhausted, and I go to Shendi for a few well deserved days of rest.

Seriously bro this guy is not human. Allah has truly showed him mercy. Indeed he is the merciful, entire merciful.
@@weztic100k9 you think enduring difficulty is something as condescending as mercy
@@Mugzchunch This life was made as a test it’s not meant to be all fun and games. The afterlife is the eternal abode where those who endured hardships and tribulations and still worshipped their creator (The one lord Allah) will enjoy. Are you a believer in God ?
@Weztic 100K life doesn't have to be primarily a test if it is a good life you lead. Ofcourse we all must experience suffering and tests but this isn't the primary thing in life. I believe in living a good life and therefore enjoying your life instead of being dogmatic and constantly having a mind frame of enduring and suffering in order to reach an imaginary afterlife. Perhaps reincarnation does exist and if you live a good life your soul will be reincarnated in a goodly manner and vice versa. I suppose the purpose of all this theology is to enable humans to thrive with one another and not do bad things.
The kid was trying to help you avoid the sand. As he was pointing to the route vehicles take to that settlement/building

@Kamil Serwatka not those tribesmen. These nomads are wealthy beyond belief. Camels generally are worth a pretty penny. To an extent, that some particular colours and race pedigree can fetch in excess of $100k.
A man on a camel in that region, will slaughter a lamb to make you a BBQ as a tradition of hospitality that is etched and deep rooted in everyone's etiquette. City people are slightly more reserved. Though will take their shirt off their backs to offer it to you.
Good people do exist.
Try going through this same route through the month of Ramadan. And you will find people stopping your car to offer your food and drink. Hospitality in that part of the world isn't only for those they know. They go the extra mile to make you welcomed
@@bleee849 Nice. Everyone is a beggar to you.
😅😅😅😅
@@bleee849 yeah 😅
Becareful with the heat! For a moment I thought we lost you at the pyramids, stay safe please!
Exactly! I'm worried for Yves!
Appreciate the kid, he is as persistent as you. Great video
I love watching your videos, and the reason is that they're raw... Keep the great content up, brother.
As a Sudanese nation, we should sue the Italians for destroying our pyramids!
Strongly agreed
It's just a bunch of stone in a desert who cares
Lol make it like every african
Open Hand, 200 dollar
@@MeagerHomelessTHE WEST CARES! INFACT THEY CARE THE MOST. thats why they keep stealing african historical items which are all over in their musuems. Dont u have any common sense to think? Or u are just a liar like them to say who cares
Sad that the damage is already done.
Thank you Yves ; I've been watching your tough journey to my home country , thank you for your endurance and struggling for all kinds of difficulties you've faced. I hope you better time and stay safe.
Best raw travel videos on youtube.

I've never seen a bowl of pasta make a man so happy 😂 Really enjoying your Sudan videos

Hi Yves,
I love your videos. Amazing journey. The fact that the video was filmed in october and uploaded now means you are fine. That is great. Looking forward seeing more videos.

Your body is working hard to cool itself through weather changes like increased blood flow to the skin and sweating which leads to extreme fatigue and low blood pressure, you should drink plenty of hydrating fluids and eat small meals with salty snacks to normalize your blood pressure. Be safe!
That's a good advice, thank you
@@KinoYves U welcome ❤
Thanks a lot, Yves. For sharing your wonderful journey with us, I can't seem to get enough of your videos and eagerly look forward to each new video.
I was really surprised when you said it was October as I thought there wasn't that big of a delay for the videos. But I understand it's better for your safety and because you probably don't always have the time and facilities to edit and upload the videos. The only thing is that it stops us from being able to give you advice on what you're currently going through.
I love the kid who was trying to help ❤❤❤❤❤
Get some rest my friend and try not to push yourself to hard! Love your videos and enjoying your travels ❤ Be safe and God bless you 🙏😊
"I have this kid going after me with his camel". Yves you are too funny. stay safe and hydrated. love this episode.
That lil kid was trying to help but he was like afraid of him hhhhhh
Merci pour cette vidéo à la prochaine pour la suite de tes aventures et bon repos
Dude ur journey is so awesome its like im watching a movie
Man you were scaring me on this one! Be careful with this extreme heat conditions!! Glad you made it!!
Hey safe journeys man! I wish you the best on your travels. The fact you were so happy just to have some pasta and sardines really puts things into perspective for me.
Very true
On the basis of harsh conditions anything is useful
When you're so tired and you get so hungry, your appetite just opens widely
DUDE thats crazy! stay safe out there Yves !
Even Sudanese avoid going out midday “I can tell from the shadows” perhaps they’re on to something 🤯!!
The kid was saying “the gate is there” I think he was trying to help you.
I live in Poland and i dont like our hot summers - sometimes 30-35 for long weeks - sudan have like 45-50. Its like sitting on fire. They have 30 at night :-D
@@arminiuszmazowszanin2670 Summer in Sudan is like you said high temperature and dry air I recall hanging clothes up to dry and collecting them dry within minutes plus the UV sunray will fade the colours.
One good thing living further away from the equator is I think you get to experience a wider range of climates i.e the four seasons 😅.
Hello Kino, keep going and staying persistent me and many others love your video adventures. Lol, that kid following you in the Camel as he kept coming in closer from the distance. I've never seen a man so happy with pasta and sardines (honestly which is good) lol. Stay safe the weather and other things are going to get more difficult as you encroach towards central Africa.
I enjoy watching all your videos, Yves. I hated to see you not feeling well on this video. Please be careful and take good care of yourself!! Your videos are Miya Miya, 100%!!
That was a wonderful episode - well done 👍
Please take care, thank you for showing us these incredible remote places and kind persons along the way.

I absolutely love the way you express your love for paste , I actually used the same word one day , and everybody that it was so funny. , I visit Sudan in 1976 , Khartoum, lovely people , very kind , gentle people ,

I think i joined this journey of yours at around 12k subs, over 70k now wow, keep going my friend,I always look forward to watching, keep safe pal :)
Timing starts once water boils! I really enjoy sightseeing through you. As a woman alone, it would be a little more difficult. So , go Yves go!🇨🇦
Those meals when you've had a really physically hard day and even the most simple meal tastes like the best thing you've ever eaten! luckily the heat exhaustion didn't get you too bad or you'd have been too nauseous to eat it!
we are watching yrs video immediately when we recive the notification. Thank you very much!
I have just subscribed to your channel and really enjoyed your videos. I must say that you have this natural ability to relate with people and it is very helpful in your adventures. Please don't push yourself too hard. Look after your health. As a Nigerian, I can
to your struggles in the extreme heat. Good luck and God bless.
The annoying young boy(in your opinion) was hardly trying to save your ass, as I understand he was trying to direct you to the only building in the area when you took wrong path(at the beginning he tried to rent you a camel but when he see your broken state )
The kid on the camel 🐪 was offering you help , but I think you were very nervous and annoyed because of severe dehydration and tiredness 😅
You never know who you can trust. Maybe he would have directed him towards a trap which would have damaged his bicycle and would have obliged him to pay the man with the camel for help. Maybe
You are amazing and friendly guy. Realy appreciate😊
Salut Yves, repose toi bien. Tout excès est néfaste. J'espère que ce n'est que la chaleur. Bon repos. Tu en auras besoin. Keep the faith!
don’t over push yourself it’s dangerous you’re not at your home and This is not the weather you used to Even local people have a hard time to handle it be safe love you keep going
your body don’t know how to Deal with this weather degrees Have mercy on him 😂
Word of advice for anyone travelling to the Middle East or Africa. DO NOT go in summer. Go either in the beginning of spring or at the end summer. Otherwise it’s too hot and you won’t enjoy it.
You are one brave. Have safe journey.
Thanks for your visit.
You just earned new subscriber.
I love watching you suffer my dear french friend.. but please know your limits you are an amazing traveler and human
Yves it’s Kahraba not Kabala
That’s why no one seem to understand you when you ask for electricity
Be safe and keep up the great work
Looks like severe dehydration, electrolytes off balance too. You just need rest and more water. Glad to see you made it through! Safe travels, stay prayed up!
You must be in great shape and have lots of stamina riding around everywhere on that bike, you have gone more places on that bike than I’d be willing to go to in a car! Anyways great videos, I just started watching your stuff last night and it’s very entertaining, I like watching you interact with people and seeing their way of life and learning about them! In some way I would love to do what you do, but I think being alone I would miss home sooner than later!(home meaning my family)
Thank you so much for showing us this world. Keep going. Love and support from Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤🤟🏻
Thank
U r good person take care
I was feeling tired this morning and was going to skip my workout and then I watched this, saw how hardcore you are, and I got motivated. Thanks bro!
Hey Yves, take it easy up there! Climate can easily exhaust you and you suddenly realize you cannot go any further and collapse. It's amazing what you have done so far, but be careful please.
Being from Sudan myself, I understand this and suggest you take a break on your journey in Africa
Take care.
You can hear the exhaustion 😩 in your voice. Good thing you rested and didn't push it. I can't believe that is October. That means you are really far south of Sudan right now.
Thank you Yves for what you are doing , I'm so mad and upset for these people who taking advantage of you. Besides the guy with white t-shirt was asking cook that where do you keep your money, made me realy mad i never thought they will be like that, but be careful and God bless you, be safe and don't trust no one specially who force them self to friends.
He asked where do he keeps his money because he was afraid someone could steal it in this open place
I love your videos. Amazing journey.
And now I want pasta! Thanks, Yves! 😂
Really enjoying your videos since I found them a couple of days ago. Hello from Toronto! 👋
Only 30k views? This is so underrated
Stay safe!! God will protect you! Sending prayers your way! ✞☦
Manage your trips early in the morning from 5 till 11 Am,, you lost minerals, please ask for " Rehydran" from the pharmacy
Nice video man.
Those pyramids look like a scene from The Mummy. They're literally in the middle of nowhere, like a lost city.
It's the birth place of the Ancient Egyptians.
In Southern Iraq, it regularly reaches over 50°C (in the shade) during around a week to 10 days in early August. I once witnessed 52
Yeah Iraq and q8 are the worst, southern Algeria gets hot too
Omg
Do you have hystorical or even modern towns with underground sections? in the centre of algerian sahara and in coober pedy (Australia) people escavated houses to escape extreme heat. Anyway, the gulf area is one of the hottest in the planet.
You are true Pro Yves! Sooo freakingg good 😂. Take care my friend!
It's supposed to be winter back home 😂🇸🇩
Wishing you safe travels 💜☘️
I am from Toronto, Canada and I watched nearly all your videos over the past month, my advice to you is that you must reduce the daily mileage of your journey in Africa to at least half, and this is because of the extreme heat in this area of the world. Don't destroy your life/health. Your health is the most important aspect of your journey otherwise there is no journey at all! I hope you understand what I am saying. Reduce your daily mileage and take appropriate rest and take a daily bath, which is extremely important to your health.
+ Don’t travel/cycle during the hottest time of the day.

This kid was so annoying 🤣 really tough part of the Journey now. Stay safe yves
The poor kid offer help ! And he didn’t undersatand him , I don’t know how come ppl travel without learning at least the basic language of ppls land and they expected speak English 😂
All the best hang in there buddy 👍🏻
Hello Mr. Yaves, you were really a hero to endure all that heat. Be proud of yourself and it will remain a journey in memory.. One day as you lie down you will remember this in silence and smile.. Our country is difficult in all respects, but we are simple and easy to the last degree, otherwise we would not be able to live in Those conditions!

Mr yves
Been here since turkey but stopped watching in Iraq. It's amazing how you're still going strong. Cheers and take care
You need to lay down when you overheat, it goes away. And to avoid it, install a roof out of fabric on your bike, anything to block sunlight. And wear shorts when pedaling, and keep your pants hanging on the bike somewhere, you can then wear the pants over the shorts when you get to your stop.
Superbe reportage sur ces pyramides du Soudan que je ne connaissais pas!
keep going 💪🏽
That is true adventure content on UA-cam, its no joke, you should be awarded after you will survive:-) Do you consider any video that would show update in current time, like short vlog to say where you at now? Stay health Yves and good luck!
You provide great Sunday morning comedy. The kid chasing you then returns on the back of a camel casually talking to you while pushing your bike in the intense heat. Maybe he was trying to tell you something!? 😂
I wish you all the best, your Vlogs are fantastic i am enjyoing it everytime. Keep posting .😍
Dehydratation tricky business, have a good recovery
The "mister-mister" kid tried to help u😅😂
23:37 the dogs always be chasin my man 🤣🤣🤣
You're in the middle of a desert, in the sun. I have no idea how you do it. There's no way I could survive that. So they have these little places to get soda and sleep in the he desert?? Do they live there?? It's strange to me that in the middle of nowhere, you can find a facility like this. Glad you did though. Try to get some water for the road and eat. Take care of yourself Ives ..
Much love & happy trails
The first spot he stayed at wasn’t hotel. It was those peoples house. They let him crash for $10 bucks and were so hospitable they helped him cook his food.
Thanks for introducing the concept of fast and slow sugars. I will pay attention to how I cook pasta from now on.
I wish you safety.. You are a brave man
Best wishes to you Yves , take one or two days if requested to properly restore yourself , 💜
I find it quite amazing with that poor preparation you are still alive
Be careful on those hot days Yves, we don't want you to get sick! I live in a desert and it's definitely heat exhaustion. I would try riding early morning if you can and rest during the hottest parts of the day.
u handling it alright then
