I saw the difference between the Sudanese people and the Egyptian people. In the Sudanese, they do not ask you for anything, and they do not force you to buy anything. Even children, if you give them money, they refuse. This is their upbringing, and I respect it very much. I saw a child who gave you a bottle of water. This is beautiful.
that was a surprise to me, I thought Sudanese people are like hardcore Egyptians, I guess that's because internationally they have a lot of pressure to prove they are part of the Arab society but in their homeland they feel calm and relax
@@ItayAI Sudan is a big country in the past. It was the largest country in Africa before the secession of the south. Yves, I must say that your positivity and openness really knows no bounds and it is wonderful to see. Despite all the demanding situations, unknowns and cultural differences (which are sometimes astonishing to Westerners) that you come across in your adventure, you have never said anything negative about the countries and people and regions you pass through. This is how a true researcher and a reasonable person who accepts and understands the diversity that exists on the mother planet is positioned. This is one of the main reasons why I enjoy following your adventures, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on that and let's move forward to new distances. All reasonable and positive people follow and support you, thank you brother! Greatings from Croatia☀️🌎🍀
Hello Yves! Even though I barely comment on UA-cam I just wanted to write how grateful I am for discovering your channel this week! You have a unique and authentic personality and I love how you express joy throughout your trips and adventures. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, it's very inspiring :)
@@KinoYves Does Roger have a UA-cam Channel as well? Thank You Kino. P.S. If you can find online a Brita water bottle Kino it will filter out the bad stuff in these counties you go to so you won't get sick. You can find them on Amazon for cheap too.
I started watching your videos from the Egypt playlsit. I spent the last year in Kenya and got married to my wife there in January. Fell in love with the country. Your videos are amazing and I can't wait to get current with your episodes and see your adventures in Kenya. I loved what you had to say in the wrap up of the Egypt playlist about how travelling quickly you don't get to experience the cultures by the same rules and in the same way as living it. I couldn't agree with you mpre. Youre videos are incredible and I am so greatful for your content.
This video is a banger, in those harsh conditions you've still managed to film his adventure through the Sahara. Thanks you, to your friend and to the Sudanese people.
Thank you for exploring sudan and show the culture and the hospitality of the sudanese despite the poverty and the heat. People still welcome you with a big smile in their face
Always carry some candies or some coin cash and give to those children especially those who came to you very excited and took you around. This may cost you only some cents but for these children, it is a very big thing.
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for sharing your incredible journey through Africa. Your adventures have inspired and fascinated me, and I am truly thankful for the opportunity to be a part of your virtual travel experience. You are undoubtedly a man of the world, someone who embraces the beauty of diverse cultures and makes an effort to adopt and understand them. Your openness to different ways of life is truly admirable, and it's something that I greatly respect and appreciate. It's through individuals like you that bridges are built between cultures, allowing us to appreciate the richness of our global community.
Alslam alycom brothers, It’s very interesting to see your journey through Sudan I’m Sudanese and i have never seen the Archaeological sites that was shown in your videos ❤ Im very happy to found and fallowed you right on time. ❤❤ hop you to travel all Sudanese regions to see the difference of people, wether, language and culture in Sudan
What dedication for staying for a week to edit. I know so many people including myself appreciate the amount of work you put into your unbelievable adventure to share with the world 🌎. Thank you...I'm sure the shower was awesome.
All seems well cycling through on the roads. Love that feeling of cruising with few vehicles on the road. Great commodore with the Sudanese people. Continue safe travels for you and your friend.
This thing is like "natural" sour candy. Its name is Qamar al-Din, and it is dried apricot fruit. The Sudanese soak it in water, mix it and drink it, especially in Ramadan, because it has a high nutritional benefit.
It's great to see your vlogs with Roger. Lucky to have a friend like Roger he is reliable and good at bargaining. Sometimes when traveling to foreign places, there will always be some people who scam us by charging crazy prices. So it's great to have a friend like Roger when traveling somewhere, because he can be relied upon.
in egypt for example you would be scammed yes, but so far in sudan the people have been asking for low honest prices and they were really kind and welcoming. so refreshing.
I followed a lot of your travels, but I find the Sudanese people to be particularly down to earth, simple and not very materialistic. They may be poor, but they seem very generous and gregarious. Je suis impressioné par ton ardeur, humeur et astuces. Bravo Yves. Je voulais te demander comment tu as fais pour te procurer de l'argent dans ces coins lointins? Pas de banques, ATM etc?
Yves will head south until he reaches south africa and then go up africa from the west side :) . and yes the people of Sudan are a breath of fresh air after seeing the mess in egypt...
I am Sudanese myself, but you really did a difficult adventure in this harsh weather. The good news for you is you will get better weather and condition as you are going down south. Well done
I cant imagine to travel like you because its so hardcore due to the heat. And i wouldn‘t be safe to eat all the meat because of stomach issues. So respect for all of your efforts.
Thumbs up guys if your writing a comment or reading one then hit the like button it helps out his videos Hallo Yves hope you have a great Christmas and stay safe out there my friend hope you come to australia one day so we can meet 😂

I have ridden over 4k miles, and not had a flat..(occasionally have to add some air).. Reason, i choose the flatless Schwalbe Marathon PLUS or the PLUS TOUR... They are incredibly durable and extremely puncture resistant. I wouldn't recommend anything less on a tour... flats are a pain.. for me a rear flat with with a Rohloff would be too heavy for me to change myself.. ie: stranded.
Nice video Yves! That thing you guys were looking at the shop that you thought was something concentrated is made from Tamarind. You should try it, its like ‘natural’ sour candy! Really good stuff! Have a safe travel 😊
I might have missed this info so some questions: how big is your total watt hours battery capacity? How many kms do you do typically in a day in these conditions? And how depleted are your batteries after a typical day's riding?
The two orange sheets you pick in the shop are dried mango. It tastes very good. Asian countries have the same thing. Holander bargains every time. Not like Yves.
