What makes or breaks these videos imo is the photorealism part as if there's an actual person walking around. I think you did a good job at it making things appear realistic.

at 57:00 what is in those pools? blue coloured liquid? the reason water looks blue in the swimming pool is because the colour of the floor is blue, and the walls as well. A more realistic effect would be if the pools have light blue tiles.
At 9:20 that very much resembles the hallway just outside my residence. I have a small apartment in a nursing home. Lost my previous home because of illness. Since then life has been like the backrooms...
That Joe Meek tune was a nice touch. I never heard of the guy before, until now... and I consider myself a fan of 60's psychedelic, underground.. freak beat music. 😮
The idea's for this is truly endless! Backrooms is endless. The poolrooms could have been longer. I imagined the game coming back on itself where he meets his team at the beginning, and my surprise it did. But he was still in the Backrooms. You could make so much to this story, literally endless. Just like my dreams. Great game, if it is a game.
If this were real, I would have a compass and spray paint to mark direction traveled. Also, it would be a group visit rather than an individual. But, this isn't real, so who cares?

Lesson learned: if you ever see an area in the Backrooms where the wallpaper is also on the floor, avoid it at all costs. It could be a noclip waiting to happen…

i always think what if , in no matter what fake game or fictional concept , would a government explore such a place yes , would the beings inside be a problem, at first but what they couldn’t kill they would contain, at the very least, it would be stripped for reserch used as a dumpling ground, used as a power source, there electricity in the lights and mechanical things, they would map it if possible, especially if it exists and entrances , to other places, example, buildings left abandoned in a lot of small towns are stripped of its copper wires, pipes, machines, furniture, and eventually the wood flooring buy the local scrappers , most of these videos although fake i know, the person leaves looking for a way out and gets lost instead of just climbing out, sure some or most fall with no apparent way to leave the way they came but the government wouldn't just say oh well and move on, if found footage exists in that world it means there's ways out , and that would mean it twisted universe is screwed, we would milk it drain it leaving nothing left

Lore wise it is not water. It's some kind of blue liquid that isn't harmful to touch, but could kill you if swallowed.
I wonder if there's pee in it too...
