This reminds me of the MTV music video Matt and Trey wanted to make for the film, but Paramount rejected the idea as they wanted to do an MTV music video with Kid Rock instead
The eyes of a child So innocent and pure A child's heart is full of song Take their tiny hand And lead them to the light As adults, we see the pain in the world And it sometimes don't seem right But though the eyes of a child The world seems magical There's a sparkle in their eyes They've yet to realise The darkness in their soul The beauty of their smile Adventurous and wild Life is kinda gay But it doesn't seem that way Through the eyes of a child So don't give up Even when the road seems long Just find that child inside of you Yeah, you gotta find you Spread your wings and fly To the brightest star If you want, I can even get my friend, Steve To detail your car, for, like, twenty bucks But through the eyes of a child The world seems magical There's a sparkle in their eyes They've yet to realise The darkness in their soul The beauty of their smile Adventurous and wild Sure, life is kinda gay But it doesn't seem that way Through the eyes of a child Got an eye on my hand I've got an eye on my hand I've got an eye on my hand But still I can't find you An eye on my hand Where have you gone, girl? An eye on my hand I'm coming right behind you An eye on my hand Don't turn around now 'Cause I'm right there I'm coming right behind you Through the eyes of a child The world seems magical There's a sparkle in their eyes They've yet to realise The b******s they really are The beauty of their smile Adventurous and wild Sure, life is kinda gay But it doesn't seem that way Through the eyes of a child Sure, life is kinda gay But it doesn't seem that way Through the eyes of a child.
One of my favorite songs from South Park as a whole, easily give BanG Dream!’s TWiNKLE CiRCLE, Love Live!’s Yume ga Koko Kara Hajimaru yo (Our Dreams Begins Here) and Eurovision’s Love Shine A Light from the 42th edition in 1997 (my favorite Eurovision entry from the United Kingdom and the last Eurovision winner with an orchestra, "Diva" the winner of the 43th edition of Eurovision in 1998 (the last edition to use an orchestra and the having native language rule) use a backing track for the live performance) a run their money, but not above Project Gotham Racing 2’s Satellite or Blur’s Smile? (on that note, a reboot or remastered of Blur please Microsoft) or Project Gotham Racing 4’s Shadow of the Devil (TWiNKLE CiRCLE & Our Dreams Begins Here have lyrics that match the hope inspiring feel to the song but in my opinion override some of or just outright most of that fast pace racing feel, there's just no feeling of adrenaline pumping through your veins coming from them when you pull a wheelie on a superbike at speeds excess of 300 kliometers per hour or 186 miles per hour or reach the top speed of the McLaren F1 (THE fastest naturally aspirated car in the whole world with average top speed: 386.7 kliometers per hour or 240.1 miles per hour and highest top speed measured: 391 kliometers per hour or 243 miles per hour) (with TWiNKLE CiRCLE's lyrics talking about welcoming Mashiro of Morfornica or something like that, it makes reaching the aforementioned max speed of 391 kliometers per hour or 243 miles per hour on the McLaren F1 feel WAY less awesome), whereas Smile? and Shadow of The Devil, those two has just as epic melody but have no lyrics, just pure unfiltered instrumental awesomeness, you can feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins doing the aforementioned act (riding in a Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa or driving a Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020 or a Ford Transit Supervan 3 while Smile? or Shadow of The Devil blasting from the loudspeaker is infinitely more awesome than with either TWiNKLE CiRCLE or Our Dreams Begins Here blasting from the same loudspeaker because the lack of lyrics just really unleash the pure awesomeness of the those two, especially combine with the sound of the high revving 4-cylinder engine of the Hayabusa or the sound of the LS-based 6.8-litre supercharged V8 from the Evolution Coupe 1020 or the Ford-Cosworth HB 3.5-litre V8 engine)). But with that being said, Trey Parker really nailed the writing of the song and combine that with the voice of Michael McDonald makes it one of the best if not the best South Park song ever, even this song blasting through the loudspeaker while the McLaren F1 (still THE fastest naturally aspirated car in the whole world) reach it's top speed still feel awesome because of the powerful melody, the silly lyrics about how the world is different through the eyes of a child combined with the roaring, thundering sound of that engine in the F1, the BMW (built for McLaren) S70/2 6.1-litre V12 which share the same layout as the BMW S70B56. "But anyway 391 is quite fast isn't it?" "I still says this is the best car ever build ever and probably will never be beaten" - Andy Wallace, 31st of March 1998 Also, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut is timeless like the Smiths W10 military field watch or the McLaren F1.
I also mentioned the McLaren F1 in that comment regarding the song Eyes of A Child. I'll link to a video filmed by McLaren on 31st of March 1998 in which they take the F1 (specficly the green one called the XP5) to Volkswagen's Ehra-Lessien test track where McLaren break the record for the fastest production car at the time with a top speed of 386.7 kliometers per hour or 240.1 miles per hour (average top speed) (highest top speed measured at 391 kliometers per hour or 243 miles per hour): ua-cam.com/video/vGBI_kGwqAk/v-deo.html In that video, at the end part, Andy Wallace, the one who drove the F1 says this: "I still says this is the best car ever build ever and probably will never be beaten" And he is right! The McLaren F1 is still the fastest naturally aspirated car in the whole world 24 years later!

I would like a music video about this song, but with the McLaren F1 speeding down a highway
South Park needs to reach the end with this song or one just as beautiful ♡ sharing the best moments :')
The eyes of a child
So innocent and pure
A child's heart is full of song
Take their tiny hand
And lead them to the light
As adults, we see the pain in the world
And it sometimes don't seem right
But though the eyes of a child
The world seems magical
There's a sparkle in their eyes
They've yet to realise
The darkness in their soul
The beauty of their smile
Adventurous and wild
Life is kinda gay
But it doesn't seem that way
Through the eyes of a child
So don't give up
Even when the road seems long
Just find that child inside of you
Yeah, you gotta find you
Spread your wings and fly
To the brightest star
If you want, I can even get my friend, Steve
To detail your car, for, like, twenty bucks
But through the eyes of a child
The world seems magical
There's a sparkle in their eyes
They've yet to realise
The darkness in their soul
The beauty of their smile
Adventurous and wild
Sure, life is kinda gay
But it doesn't seem that way
Through the eyes of a child
Got an eye on my hand
I've got an eye on my hand
I've got an eye on my hand
But still I can't find you
An eye on my hand
Where have you gone, girl?
An eye on my hand
I'm coming right behind you
An eye on my hand
Don't turn around now
'Cause I'm right there
I'm coming right behind you
Through the eyes of a child
The world seems magical
There's a sparkle in their eyes
They've yet to realise
The b******s they really are
The beauty of their smile
Adventurous and wild
Sure, life is kinda gay
But it doesn't seem that way
Through the eyes of a child
Sure, life is kinda gay
But it doesn't seem that way
Through the eyes of a child.

This film was supposed to be the end of South Park, and it turned out to be the thing that set the foundations for the rest of the show going forward
1:24 Who else thinks this scene and this part of the song is kinda beautiful together?
This is the best song in South Park and if its gets its Series Finale this song along with clips from evry episode with all the characters in them.
This is beautiful dude!
This song is great. I love it
Great and all, but it's unfortunately not the same with Kenny saying "Goodbye you guys" at the end
Sad Song For An R-Rated Movie But Kind Of Good.
Yeah
Life is kinda gay
But it doesn't seem that way
Through the eyes of a child
99% sure the weird stuff in the bridge about "an eye on my hand" is a reference to the 1987 film The Gate.
You cooked wit this ngl 😭
I love it
I think that this song would be good for the movies 'Orphan' and 'The Deer Hunter'
