  • In this video we used the Maker's Money Clipper Wallet template set to make the other style of money clipper wallet. The pockets on this wallet are on the outside and the clip is sewn into the fold of the wallet. As always, if you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments and I'm happy to answer them.

    your videos are a HUGE help for a beginner like myself. i have kind of stayed away from the tooling part of projects because i was afraid of the whole antiquing and finishing, even though i have watched numerous how to videos. i had no idea i could tool the english bridle leather. i had a scrap piece and i just threw on some quick stamps to see how it looks and wow. game changer. it holds a stamp really nice and it looks crisp. totally unlocks a new design element. thank you very much.

      John Jarmuskiewicz just vegetable oil from the kitchen. A couple of thin coats 12 to 24 hours apart. That mixed with pocket sweat will age nicely.

    Hello, I heard you say that you need to make a video on your Idea Sleeve template? I have purchased this product the Idea Sleeve from my local Tandy Leather Company. I’m in the process of making one and I think I need one of your videos. I was going to make some for Christmas gifts this year but hopefully you can make some time and make a video before Christmas? You have helped me out with your videos you have made already. Have a good evening.

    Beautiful Leather arrived safely from you. I have made two of these so far watching your video. I was wondering if you could add on to the template an inside with 2 slots on each side horizontally. I got a kit from Tandy with the horizontal card slots and love it. It has two vertical cards on each outside, and then 4 on the inside. Very nice design. Would like to make some that way.

    Aaron, can you sew the money clip in with a sewing machine or would it be easier hand stitching. Right now I only have 2 & 3mm chisels and 8mm thread so don’t know what the stitching would look like. Thanks for your help.

  • @tammyaltic2254

    I know this might sound like a silly question but, how do you install the blade to your scalpel handle, I bought the set with 10 blades but not sure how to put the blade on and don't want to cut myself. Thanks so much. Tammy

    • @rfleecs
      @rfleecs 6 років тому

      Tammy...match the angle of the NON-SHARP back edge of the blade with the angle on the handle. Keep the blade in the sleeve and it should click on the handle...be very careful, don't slice your finger!

    Aaron, do you sell the container and applicator your using for the Ron’s edge rub? I really like that set up your using. Also, how much leather does this wallet take, getting ready to place another order and I think the guy’s in my family would really like one of these wallets. Thanks again Aaron, keep up the good work I really enjoy watching your videos. Tammy

    I’ve noticed your glue bottle is brown. Glue pots I’ve seen online are usually metal. My question: Is there something about light that hurts contact cement?

    • @makersleathersupply1220
      @makersleathersupply1220  4 роки тому +1

      Yes. I used to have a light colored plastic one like a milk jug. If I did not store it in the cabinet the UV light would thicken the cement very quickly.
