Although he is often labelled as a jazz drummer, his unique approach and style on the kit is influenced by R&B, alternative, and funk. He has dedicated his life to learning the craft and its history to be one of the best drummers of his time. As an artist and music enthusiast, Corey has studied a variety of genres, primarily through his father's music collection. His skills are rooted in an eclectic background, emphasizing that music is hard to categorise.
