Now I'm confused, I thought you feed the latch needle towards the tag end of the line not the rod end, then it turns inside out when you make the loop. Here that is not happening, so which method is correct?
i'm sorry but I have to criticize this video. One would think that a Shimano rep would do a much better job trying to teach others how to tie a loop. His hands are in the way of being able to clearly see what he is doing. Filming in the wind on the outside deck is also very unprofessional and hampers the clarity of what he is saying. Shame on Shimano for hiring this man to do a public video.
I agree. They do make those fuzzy things to put over a microphone to cut out all of that nonsense...wind noise. I don't watch videos unless I can hear you!!!
This particular clip made the process of attaching a wind on seem a lot easier
When is Shimano finally going to build Trolling Reels for left handers like me ????
What you have finded? Do you like avet hx 5/2 left hand or penn squall 60lh ?
Bravo
That’s interesting. I do the opposite and pull the mainline through, not the tag end so it’s adjustable but locks on it’s own.

You do. This isn’t the way you’re supposed to do it
