It hasn't been much time after we left sumeru but it still feels Nostalgic

Sumeru ...is still there.....and I am happy that it is .
This is absolutely beautifully sad, showed all of the memories we had in Sumeru, but now we're off to the next nation. (Also you did so well on the art, and the music was so good tnbee was awesome)

Forget about RNG and drama stuff, this game is beautiful
It does always leave me with a melancholy when a new nation comes out. First and foremost I'm excited, but I also look back on how many adventures I've had in the nations before, and how they now feel like such distant memories, and this beautiful video captured beautifully how diving into the new nation also means in a way leaving behind the previous one.
Ah this was my fav work in the hoyofair because it almost made me tear up. The lore had so much heart in Sumeru and this made me miss the region even more

Even if I'm supposed to say goodbye to Fontaine when Natlan finally releases, I still find myself saying goodbye once again to Sumeru.
Even now, I still find myself logging in and out of the game in Sumeru. I truly love the region, the characters, stories and visuals. Out of all the current nations, I think it's my home. I don't think any other region will replace it. I wanna write a love letter to Sumeru
I just lost my best friend to cancer, this video hits me really hard after buffing him farewell for the last time

Sumeru holds a special place in my heart. I never thought a game would heal so much of my inner child, with such wonder and amazement, with how vast and beautiful the story and environment is. It's like you're really there, taking part in that journey. The beautiful melodies played through Sumeru are so melodic and mellow, it soothes the heart.
This sums up so perfectly how I felt towards the end of 3.8 when it was time to leave Sumeru behind and move on to Fontaine ... 🥹
All bittersweet and melancholic but also warm and fuzzy looking back at the changes "I" had wrought as Lumine.
Sumeru will forever be my comfort nation. ❤

revisiting this in natlan, i honestly think sumeru was the best nation so far and none of the world quests nor archon quests from after that area feel the same for me... sure fontaine archon quest is sad, but sumeru made me cry for days with akasha pulses the kalpa flame rises, inversion of genesis and dirge of bilqis. i will always love sumeru, no matter how great the other quests are, sumeru feels like my home
THIS IS SO GOOD WHAT
The fact that we're in Natlan now.. up until now.. Sumeru the only region that i love so much.. feels like it's attached to me. Ngl, Fontaine and Natlan are awesome.. but smh they're not great as Sumeru... idk if this bcs i was back active on genshin eversince Alhaitham banner and been attached to 3.4-3.8 or maybe my own preference or idk...
It might be because Sumeru is inspired by my birth country, but also because Sumeru was the most anticipated... or because it's the first region I saw develop from the start to finish.. I'm glad I could stick along for this long (2.1 - 4.1). Sumeru has been the most memorable region by far for me...
No matter that Fontaine is here, I still don't feel the same connection and homey feeling like I did with Sumeru. It's forever in my heart. And Nahida is a huge factor in why Sumeru is my favorite.
