Diluc, who was already grieving his loss, couldn’t control his temper and had almost killed Kaeya. But then, just as Kaeya was about to accept his fate, his Cryo vision appeared. After that incident, their paths diverged, making their relationship very complicated. So Kaeya and Diluc fighting together, and not against each other, and just being happy together in general… it just brings a tear to my eyes. This video is seriously so well done, the music, the visuals, the storyline, it’s all perfect. Thank you all for making this, as a Kaeya main I couldn’t be happier. Lastly, I wish Genshin Impact a happy second anniversary! I’m really excited towards what more there is to come, so many mysteries remain unsolved, I really hope that we get to see more of Kaeya lore.

Diluc is bashful and aloof type. He loves taking shots at knights of favonius, which incidentally Kaeya is a part of. It’s already clear from game events they have typical sibling rivalry relationship, it’s just more pronounced due to the past trauma about their father. Kaeya and Diluc were together on the island in the original GA islands event. Kaeya also visits the mansion occasionally and needless to say Kaeya is a regular at Diluc’s bar, although Diluc always acts like he hates that but he doesn’t object to his presence outright either. I think they are just normal siblings who have their own unique way to communicate given their circumstances and personality. Diluc specially is a piece of work, given there are very few people he gets along with or opens up to earnestly.

Some of the on screen Chinese were not translated and it makes me so sad, it really adds to the feels. Kaeya telling Diluc to not carry everything by himself. I am of Chinese origin, myself, and can say that almost everyone who plays Genshin ships them. And also, in the EN translation, Kaeya refers to Diluc as 'Bro', or 'adoptive Brother'. Nobody in the CN ever implies any sort of sibling-relation between them, as he said nothing of the sort. Diluc refers to Kaeya as "sworn younger brother" (义弟 yì dì ), meanwhile Kaeya called Diluc "sworn older brother" (义兄 yì xiōng). Master even Crepus refers to Kaeya as a "sworn son" (义子 yì zǐ ) in Kaeya's character story. Even in the recent event revolving around Diluc and Kaeya, "K" had sent Diluc nine letters, which is said to be some kind of love declaration, as It is common to gift your beloved 99 roses and such in China, because the number nine is the highest one-digit number. But of course, somehow none of this makes it to the EN translation, making those who can rightfully ship the slash between these two look "Disgusting, incest-encouraging" and so on. I am of Chinese origin, myself, and can say that almost everyone who plays Genshin ships them. And also, in the EN translation, Kaeya refers to Diluc as 'Bro', or 'adoptive Brother'. Nobody in the CN ever implies any sort of sibling-relation between them, as he said nothing of the sort. Diluc refers to Kaeya as "sworn younger brother" (义弟 yì dì ), meanwhile Kaeya called Diluc "sworn older brother" (义兄 yì xiōng).
