    I have the 2024 Poison Adrena 6'10" light BFS rod on pre-order from Tackle Warehouse. I can't wait to get it!

    I got 2 copies of the last-gen 610 UL/M when it was on clearance because I love that taper so much. I have it paired to an Excence and they are a match made in heaven. It was sad to see the new 2024 models no longer offering a similar taper. I love rods that have a nice backbone but provides a very crisp controllable tip and the 610 UL/M was one of a kind. Hopefully they bring out another similar taper but improved for this future lineup! Thanks for the vid, hope to see more of this rod in action in your future vids!

    I wish they would have stuck with silver accents instead of gold. I am excited to see an on the water comparison.

      Thanks for watching! I initially thought the same but after seeing it in-person, it definitely grew on me and i love the new look and color scheme but yet again, its all preference. I'll try and get an on the water video out soon!

    I would like to know if you can tell a difference in the sinsativity. As far as your thoughts on the handle, sounds like you can drill a whole in the old models handle, and it could help with vibration conductivity.

    I just got mine a couple of weeks ago. New Adrena 268M+. I can't wait for spring to test it. What reel are you going to put on the new rod? Thank you for introducing the rods🙏🏻

    I love the look of the poison adrenas but I never pulled the trigger on the spinning models as I wished they had the expride b style of grip. Beautiful looking rods though.

      @anthonypacion-chanthabouas8186 I just picked up a 7'm expride. They've either been sold out or full price for a minute. 236$ out the door

      Thanks for watching! I do agree that i prefer the grip to be above the reel seat, not below - so i understand where you are coming from.

    The old 7’3mh is my dedicated chatterbait/spinnerbait rod, think the old model looks better. My Nrx+ 873CRR is the reason I’ll never need another jig rod. I do like the new hook keeper. Great review, I always wanted to know what the 7’3mh weight was

    I want a chatterbait rod for pike that i can use to throw 3/8 ans 1/2 oz chatterbaits with trailers. I want to have an expride or an poison adrene can you give me any recomendations?

    • @ChewyThaoFishing
      @ChewyThaoFishing  Місяць тому

      The 73MH poison adrena would be perfect! I throw 3/8-1/2 Uoze and chatterbaits with the old poison adrena.

    omg hook keeper! iykyk, but looking at the expoxy and added materials, I can see why the JDM rods argue against them, if you're into the finest of details...

      It does add weight however, that is where I can sacrifice some weight for a hook keeper lol. It’s all preference

    I hate hook keepers. They always put it where you grab the rod. Just stick the hook behind the first rod guide. Simple. Does not hurt the guide.

    • @ChewyThaoFishing
      @ChewyThaoFishing  Місяць тому

      Thanks for sharing! Very interesting about the position of a hook keeper behind the first guide. Are there any rods that come like that?

    • @Jessica37323
      @Jessica37323 Місяць тому

      It's not a hook keeper. It's the eye guide foot. Just put the hook behind the guide
