Your lrises are very beautiful. I really like it. Unfortunately, my country is a tropical country, can be grown but not beautiful.I like all your flower.have a good day💚❤❤🌹
Absolutely I need to work on this. Thanks for noticing. I just told my mom the same thing that I need to do this. It is really hard to do when you are videoing. I find myself worrying about the video being too long. I have a lot to learn. Thanks for watching!
I have purchased from many places over the years. I would recommend connecting with your local iris society group, if you have one. This is the iris society website. You may be able to find a connection there www.irises.org
Gorgeous, you’ve inspired me to do an iris garden. Do you use any fertilizers, any pest problems, or other tips? I’m in northern Ohio, not too far from Lake Erie.
@@lanacameruci4523 absolutely, iris are usually a background flower it seems, so few actually talk about them in depth. Everyone basically just glosses over them. And I get it, they’re tough and don’t need a ton of attention, but information is still useful. Pretty much all I can find on them is how to plant, and maybe how to divide them. As someone who has as many as you do, and uses them as a “thriller” not so much a “filler”, you’re a bit of an authority on the subject!
Your irises are stunning!!! Can I ask you what you feed them and do you amend your beds yearly with compost? I ordered 30 different varieties and want to be successful. I have one bed that bloomed like crazy and another that gave me 2 bloom stocks out of 34 plants. I think i need to divide that bed even thou its only been two years since I have...
I only mix in fresh compost to the native soil when I divide them. You will find that each variety is different in its growing habits. Some of mine will bloom vigorously but then it may take a few years for them to increase fans and bloom again. Some increase really well and need to be divided more frequently.
Gorgeous...absolutely gorgeous! 💜💜💜

Absolutely stunning garden. Just a suggestion could you slow it down a little more while filming. So we can enjoy each Iris just a little longer. 😊

I was thinking I might try to make a video about this. Do you think it would be something worth creating?
