Spoke with Ogbene on Thursday afternoon at a nearby store. He said he's back for the last 2 games and the fact that even at this stage of the season, Luton are still in it, is outstanding. He confirmed Eli was back for this game, whom i actually saw leaving the training ground in his car on Tuesday. I predicted Forest will score 0 points in their last 4 games. Ogbene said it only takes one result.
So good to see Eli back today, hopefully he'll get more minutes next week. I think we'll need two wins yet to survive
Luton cannot defend. The relegation writing was on the wall with the throwing away of a 3-0 lead against Bournemouth a few games back. Burnley on current form probably has more of an outside chance to stay up. It's so disappointing end of season for us Luton fans.
Burnley have no chance with Spurs, Newcastle still to play. And why is it disappointing? Our first season back has seen the club put back on the footballing map, the money has paid for our new stadium and probably secured the future of the club. We will bounce back stronger and we've been so unfortunate with the volume of injuries which impacted us.

Truth, all that matters come the end of the season is points. Couldn't care less how we get them now, win at all costs. Doesn't matter how well you play, losing 2-1 or 10-0 you still get no points

A point dropped
Like I've done for the last 40 years, I will always support Luton irrespective of which division they're in. Although I can't help but think that in trying to adjust and compete in the PL the team has lost its identity - which for the last 10 years has been built on a solid but aggressive defence. The current defence seems timid, lost and confused and looks like it will concede at least 5-6 goals every game. It's a shame because the midfield has generally been outstanding all season - albeit too reliant on a now exhausted Barkley, and the strikers have been effective. Is it mostly down to injuries? Or is defence just not RE's thing? I think the club needs to put all its focus on finding 3-4 defenders from the lower leagues in the summer or they could easily be next year's Rotherham in the Championship.
How many deflected goals this season.. its absolutely infuriating. Glad to see Elijah back. We have to throw the kitchen sink at Everton next COYH

I haven’t given up all hope, just yet. There is one more realistic chance, though. Unless we beat Everton on Friday night, I believe we will get pipped by at least one of Burnley or Forest - who play each other on the final day of the season.

Too often we are losing the ball or giving it away cheaply and always in dangerous areas of the park (to us).
Our players seem to be slipping at inopportune moments (for us).
Too often we are failing to make use of goal-scoring opportunites only for the opposition to go down the other end and score.
I wasn't that impressed by a Wolves team that hadn't won in seven games, yet they managed to put two past us.
We are 'as-you-were' as far as the table is concerned with Forest having to play City tomorrow.
Ironically Burnley are back in the mix and if we were do go down, I would prefer it that Burnley stay up as opposed to Forest. I wonder who was checking the VAR at Molineux?

3 cup finals left. COYH! Need to be far more smarter in the final third. It's so frustrating when there is no movement upfront for a pass, sending the ball backwards. Barkley has been so smart on the ball, it's just a shame the forward play is 2 steps behind. COYH

I think the midfield is too lightweight with Clark and Chong playing together, I'd bring Pelly back and save both of them for later in the game, starting with Morris and Adebayo up top together. Doughty looks like he needs a rest, quite a few times today he had space to move forward to receive the ball but held back. Too many times today we lacked an outlet going forward, you could see Ross and Sambi getting frustrated, not really Morris's fault as he was isolated but lack of forwards meant that any press we tried was ineffective or nonexistent.
Hello championship we never had the quality to stay up.. two donkeys in defence and not one decent forward was never gonna keep us up

We are down Rob is a great championship manager but lacking the tactical experience to be premier league standard Burnley to finish above us unfortunately.

A while ago I thought we could stay up.
But the Bournemouth result 3-0 up,then lose.Totally unexceptable.We were doomed from that.We have had a few hidings since as well.
Never mind trying to catch Forest.Burnley are on a run of form one point behind us.They have Forest fo play,and will beat them to stay up.

Get rid of the sicknotes.Example Dan Potts.Plus gid rid of all the players we sent out on loan to lower league clubs except Joe Taylor.
We will need to rebuild,if we want a crack at the Premier league again,as a lot of the players are not up to it.
