Good old days on the PSP. My parents made me give it up to my less fortunate Cousin. I wasn't too disappointed then, but now looking back I wish I hadn't especially because he probably doesn't even use it or even have it anymore 😭🤡😤
I loved the mix and match style.. in GC and UUA when you buy the best armor you.. become it, stuck with it forever on that save file. No helmetless cutscenes or anything, you literally become the armor. This right here is how they should've made the armor customization to begin with. More choice without ever leaving the comfort of your menu.
Mix and match armor that provide unique bonuses and effects is something that is missed in current games so much. I miss it, Sony needs to make all the original Ratchet and Clank games available on current gen, and no not the streaming version PSNow sucks
Ya but they should have made all the armors absorb the highest amount of damage possible as a reward for obtaining all armor sets. Because there are so many armor sets that are useless after like the first 4 planets.
Played the game again. I was 5 when I first played and now I'm 15. Holy hell this game was hard. Bullet sponge enemies doing high damage, expensive and weak guns and the awkward movement made my experience furiating. Idk how younger me completed Challenging mode, and had the patience to unlock the Ryno which is like very expensivE. Anyways, I discovered you can combine pieces of the different sets to unlock these cool abilities. Try crystalix and hyrdobean, it's pretty cool.

I had a friend who had it also and we loved the series, we actually found out about the armor mixing and other secrets back then, in primary school, somehow, and we did it without the internet too, for the most part (mostly by discussing and trial and error, I think? There were always rumors about secret things in the games so we'd try everything out). It is pretty crazy to think about, in retrospect.. Either way, both the PSP games, Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank, have lots of secrets and they're fun to find. Daxter is also pretty cool, in case you haven't played it before
The fact I beat this game with no armour since I was to young to know how to even pause the game. I also had no memory card so I couldn’t save the game lol I had to leave my PSP on

I remember when I used to play this game, I played so much everyday for about 5 years and I got bored and stopped playing because I had the game fully completed
What an nostalgia , i grown Up with this ratchet and clank , i started play It like 6-7 years , now i have 13 and yesterday remembered to play It , im Road to 100% Game!
the armor sets were the coolest thing about this otherwise meh game. Its too bad they had different stats though which sort of ruined the point of them in the first place.
As bad as a ratchet and clank game it might be I DO NOT CARE, this is from an ENTIRELY biased pov. This is childhood nostalgia cranked to damn 12. All of it, amazing, wonderful, i want it in my pocket its my freaking favorite, one of many. May this live forever in very few hearts 💜

Thanks, I just got an emulator since my ps2 won't work for my physical disk. It's actually one of the easier games to emulate in my experience, but the psp version might be easier to emulate. It's been years, so I forgot all the mixed sets ._.
@@will75yt62 yes I did it on psp and it works, you finish the game once and then, in challenge mode, you will find them on the ground throughout your playthroug. I can't remember if they are well hidden, but I don't think they are
No because the parts are appeared in the way and it doesn't need to play clank challenge or race .also to get these u need to complete once the boss at challenge mode
just hearing the music at the start brings back so many memories, i loved this game so much

I played this game on my psp through around 30 times again and again and again
I remember i had every armor exept tge electroshock boots and the electroshock armor was my favorite
I used the ice armor with the gas mask,it looks cooler
