I just purchased on one of these and I can tell you there is no other machine like it. You should have absolutely no hesitations buying one of these. It is so versatile and really is the best in terms of value, features, drills, for your money. It is high quality made and a cinch to use. It WILL take your game to the next level. One of the features I like most, is the internal oscillation which makes it very difficult to see where the machine is going to shoot the next ball. The remote is loaded with a ton of variables at your finger tips. No signal problems whatsoever. Even my eight year old son who competes, has taken his game to the next level after using this machine. I purchased the external battery model and also picked up an extra battery. One of the best investments I've made. Grab one! You won't be disappointed!
Thank you for sharing this information. I suppose you bought the Spinfire 2 machine? Have you had any issues with the machine ever since? Would you still recommend it over the Lobster?
I had the opportunity to be in contact with the developer of the Spinfire 2 ball machine and can attest to the fact that he is focussed on providing the best ball machine and service you can reasonably expect as well as being proud of the product he has developoed. Apart from that the features of this machine ticks all the boxes. If you are going to fork out the cash for a tennis ball machine, be careful to skimp on features - you really want to have the oscillation and remote control functions as that increases the usability and longlevity of the machine significantly. Also important to ensure that balls that is being hit back at the machine won’t cause any damage (knobs/controls damage or damage due to balls getting stuck in spinning wheels, etc) - here the spinfire 2 ticks all the boxes as well - do not underestimate the importance of this as it is a matter of time before something will go wrong if this has not been foreseen and accounted for in the design. In less than a year my daughter went from basically a beginner to making a strong provincial team despite being a year younger than the girls she computed against - a lot of that progress can be directly attributed to the quality and advanced functions of the spinfire 2.
The Lobster Elite 3 has a set time between the 2 shots of a two line drill. This is because it needs time to oscillate from one side to the other. On the Lobster Elite 4 and 5 the intervals can be changed. The Spinfire Pro 2 can also change the interval settings of the 2 line drill.
Can you please suggest what is the average servicing time for these machines from the date of purchase? What all parts needs regular replacement and after how many days?
I have the lobster elite 3 and I don't use the 2 line oscilation because it takes too long between balls. For example, after I've hit a forehand I have to wait too long to hit to following backhand. There is no way to adjust this. Does the Spinfire also have the same delay?
Good overview, but the comparison is a bit off. You should be comparing to the Elite 4 which has a digital panel + fast charger at the same price. Lobster Elite 3 = $1599 (Amazon & Lobstersports) Spinfire Pro 2 = $1899 (MambaTennis) Lobster Elite 4 = $1899 (Amazon & Lobstersports) Both Lobster remote types are a waste of money - bad range, unreliable, and no beep. I heard Spinfire remote is better, but you must extend the antenna. I'd probably clip it to a fence.

Sounds like Spinfire Pro 2 is the winner
How long does a full charge for each of them last?
Fantastically helpful review
