Your packaging is so good! I love that you put the extra effort in to make sure it arrives as successfully as possible. It feels good when customers are happy with their plants upon arrival and they arrive without damage 🥰
Thank you! That is polyfil! A lot of craft stores have it and people often use it to make pillows or stuffed toys for kids. I have gotten it from Walmart or Amazon as well!
I have taken on trying to help our plants at the hospital I work at with no clue. I have been watching a lot of videos, but there are a few I don't know for sure what they are. Is there anyway I can send some pictures and see if you can identify them?
Use the little camera icon to the right of the Google sidebar. Using that will allow you to take a photo & then Google searches their entire database of photos.
Yes you can! In fact I recommend that over the flat rate boxes, after filming this video I had a bad experience with the flat rate ones and always use my own boxes now!
I'm concerned how the plant turns out after being so taped & closed in there, that always scares me when I'm shipping plants, also you send them dry without anything moist on the dirt right?
I’ve actually found they do very well shipped like this, I’ve shipped over 250 plants using this method and only had an issue one time due to freezing temperatures. As for the soil I make sure there is some moisture but I don’t add a damp paper towel or anything but definitely don’t ship completely dry or they would rot.
Hello, Your packaging IS the most involved of any seller! My plant came to me in PERFECT shape. Thank you.
Thank you!! And thanks for sharing! I’m so glad your plant made it safe and sound! ❤️🪴

Thank you! Lol there’s a good chance my packaging could be overkill but hey you can’t be too careful!
Thank you! I am in Canada and just shipped my first plant in the cold weather and really appreciated this!
Thanks for watching Liza! I hope your plant does great! I’ve been so surprised how well they do being shipped in the cold!
I’ve found using shredded paper to fill the extra space in the box much better the wrapping paper!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to try that when I run out of newspaper!
Wow with all that packing material and time plus flat rate shipping box price I'm surprised you make any profit
Love the care you put into shipping! It’s really cold here in NH - can’t wait till it warms up and I can order again.
Thank you! It’s definitely worth it for me too for people to get their plants in good shape!
Makes me wanna buy one of your plants, 😀
Do it!! 😀
I did like it very much and learned a lot 😊 I’m thinking to sell online myself… You must have to charge for packing ? and of course postage
I think most packing is totaled in with plant cost.
Yes I do figure that in with the cost of the plant!
Hi, very nice video! Can you tell me what is this cotton you put around plant and where can I buy it pls???
Thank you! That is polyfil! A lot of craft stores have it and people often use it to make pillows or stuffed toys for kids. I have gotten it from Walmart or Amazon as well!
@@queencitytropicals Thank you so much!!
Wish every shipping department took as much care. Packages have a rough trip getting from place to place. 😊
They certainly do! Yeah it doesn’t help me either if people don’t get their plant in one price so it’s worth the extra effort!
How much your shipping supplies and box cost you and how much was your mathilde price? Did You make any money at the end? Seem like a lot of steps

how long does it take for your plant to arrvie to the customer?
Can you ship usps PRIORITY with your own box if you have tall plants? Or do you need to use their flat rate shipping?

Very informative. Nice video 👏
Thanks for watching!!
The truck is not heat enough?
Not usually when it gets really cold. I recommend using heat packs when it is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit during the day.
Oh yea your a tape monster 😂 but excellent packing. I’d rather deal with tape than soil an plant being being flung out all over box. 💚😀
😂 lol a tape monster indeed! I don’t know what they do with those boxes but you almost have to do all that to keep stuff from getting damaged!
