Probably my favorite episode ❤️
This is a great episode where Penny made her first friend in outer space even though he couldn't be seen but heard. Any episodes where Angela Cartwright or Marta Kristen were in the spotlight were great.
One of John Williams greatest scores is here. Just beautiful. He also scored three other episodes for season one of Lost in Space. These were "Reluctant Stowaway" "Island in the Sky" and "The Hungry Sea" All of them are legendary scores. He was a genius even then as a young man in his 20s.
So long ago...Yet I remember this episode with fondness. It was my favourite, and still is.
Wonderful! Loved Lost in Space as a child... and Angela Cartwright is sister to Veronica Cartwright, star of The Birds, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Alien. Both sci-fi stars! 🚀
They should play this musical score at every Auto Dealers’ Finance Office as you’re about to sign a 6 year lease on you’re Hyundai or VW😂👍
Music was always haunting. Used to terrify me when I was 7 watching in the 1960’s.
That’s because it’s the music of John Williams.
All hail the master, John Williams.
Yes!!!
Beautiful Angela Cartwright. I couldn't appreciate her beauty when I first saw this, I was too young.
Had a huge crush for Angela back in the day. Not a lot of people know that John Williams created the score for LIS TOS. Sure he gets Star Wars and Raiders etc, but he needs to be acknowledged for a great sequence of gripping terrifying music scores throughout the LISTOS series.
In my estimation, the single greatest original tv score. And that includes scores written by Bernard Herrmann for Twilight Zone, Dominic Frontiere for Outer Limits and Fred Steiner for Star Trek. Haunting and beautifully captivating.
I absolutely agree with you. I've never understood why so many fans of John Williams are not familiar with these scores. His greatest works I feel are in the four he scored for season one of Lost in Space. They are the soundtrack of my life. Started watching the show when it debuted in 1965 at age 5.
@@jerrymarlow5453 Like you, in all likelihood, the mesmerizing and often magisterial themes Williams composed have never left me in a half century or more. While I’ve been enamored of film and TV music practically al my life, collecting hundreds of soundtracks, subscribing to Film Score Monthly, corresponding with like minded aficionados, reading books on film music theory, I’ve seldom come across anything written about the four scores to any appreciable extent, which I’ve always found rather perplexing. His music for LIS elevates it into a entirely different realm-I would estimate that Williams is responsible for at least 40% of the mystique, charm and nostalgia so many have been captivated by.
That Irwin Allen didn’t seek to commission John Williams for additional scoring assignments for LIS is also a bit of a mystery, given that his cues were omnipresent throughout the entire series’ run (!)
This episode was specifically written for Angela Cartwright and it is also her favorite.
I forgot how slow-paced shows were back then
I was in 7th Grade when Lost in Space came on he air ~ from the very first time I saw Angela Cartwright on that show ~ I was in love ~ I was annoyed with any episode that didn't feature her character enough
Penny: Well, how do you do?
Mr. Nobody: Do.
Penny: I'm just an echo, that's all.
Mr. Nobody: All?
Penny: Echo?
Mr. Nobody: E-cho?
Penny: Only... where does it come from? Where?
Mr. Nobody: Where! Where! Where. Echo. Echo! Echo. Where. Echo. Hey! Hey! Where! Hey!
Conheci ela pessoalmente em 2016
Thank god she could move her fingers now she'll be able to help her mother in the kitchen 🇵🇸
