Luau is a programming language used to build the script inside the roblox studio. Print statement is one of the commands used in scripting. They write a message to an output window so that we can see when we run the game. Example: print(“hello!”) print(“how are you doing?”) To open output window - Click the “view” tab on the top screen. Then click “output” from the 2nd column. To test game - Click the “test” tab on the top screen. Then click the “play” button on the left. To stop the testing game, just simply hit the stop button.
I know Python and have done a little game development in reward studio, but I don't know very much, lua. So this whole video and the first one moved to me like well, duh. This is my script. Thank you so much for the great tutorial. Other tutorials skip like they'll say so you're going to to want to type "print,' then they'll cut and they have 100 lines of script down. Truly a great UA-camr. You earned yourself a well deserved sub. Good job.

Hey, can you please explain why do we need to make things like this? like making a story in the print statement

it's a simple subject he's teaching, but honestly, as a rookie myself, I never knew what printing even did XD So I'm glad this guy made this video; props to him!!
Is there any use to the print ability? Like does it show on a players screen? I don’t find how it would be of any use in any game
you can use it while scripting.
If you want it to show up on screen, you would need to add a ScreenGUI in StarterGUI and add whatever you want
@ ohhh ok thx
Debugging script, sometime script is too complicated that you might want to use print to see which output you got.
Here's what I wrote:

print("Ronnie Barrett took notice of this and began development on his handheld semi-automatic .50 BMG, something that looked impossible at the time due to it's ridiculous 12.7x99 dimemsions.")
print("Called originally the M82A1, it was made to be fairly lightweight. A part of the gun's genius is the moving barrel, which was created as both a recoil counter measure (you wouldn't wanna fire .50 BMG without it, and a system for the semi-auto bolt to reciprocate.")
print("Later designated as the M107 (in my opinion, the better name), to this day it stands as the U.S. Army's Standard Sniper Rifle.")

Luau is a programming language used to build the script inside the roblox studio.
Print statement is one of the commands used in scripting.
They write a message to an output window so that we can see when we run the game.
Example:
print(“hello!”)
print(“how are you doing?”)
To open output window -
Click the “view” tab on the top screen.
Then click “output” from the 2nd column.
To test game -
Click the “test” tab on the top screen.
Then click the “play” button on the left.
To stop the testing game, just simply hit the stop button.

But I could see how this is helpful. For people Never Opened roblox studio I'm going to continue watching these videos as I'm sure it will get more challenging down the road.Because like a print statement is out of python, I literally said You could just simplify it. But this is just me with a little bit of experience in Python. I'm surprised you only had 24000 subscribers to keep up the work, man.
Good work! I hope it can help me learn lua faster!
