I’ve seen the international trailer as well and it’s definitely more of the tone I’m looking for! Regardless though, I know it seemed like I wasn’t impressed with the trailer but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The fireworks and the firenado were just big surprises to me and I wasn’t sure on how I felt about them. I’ve come around to both and will just have to see how they are handled in the film! I’m so excited you have no idea! 🤣

Think it looks great other than firenado and fireworks... Hollywood 🙄 . Just listened to soundtrack "Ain't No love in Oklahoma" by Luke Combs and that soundtrack sounds absolutely amazing.
I’ve been trying to think why the fireworks would be used and I can only think of two things: 1: It’s just adrenaline junkie spectacle; or 2: They’ve attached sensors to the fireworks and use them to have better accuracy of getting in the twister. It took the team in the first movie 4 times to get it right, so maybe this makes it easier?
I live in El Reno, about two miles from the Twistex memorial, and we’re all so excited to see our little town as well as a lot of our friends as extras!
One thing about tornadoes in movies vs in real life is that real life tornadoes look very "smokey" and the closer they get the softer the edge's get. In a movie they have to figure out how to make that look good on screen and convey that visual information in a couple of seconds, so it makes since from a visual standpoint that they tend to lean more towards well defined edges verses the very whispy natural look. Hopefully they will find a decent middle ground. I am very encouraged, especially watching first trailer, that they have done better research on the Storm structure; specifically the mesocyclone and where in the supercell the tornado actually occurs.
With the fire tornadoes, it's looking like the tornado probably hits some kind of factory or oil rig of some sort, which probably causes the oil to catch fire. It doesn't look like it's gonna be something weird, it looks like something that is possible, which I like, cause the idea of flaming tornadoes is terrifying and pretty awesome really. I'm actually curious if it's possible to have happen. Waterspouts are a real thing. why not fiery ones?
You are absolutely right! I do feel better about it now since I've gone back and refreshed on some tornado history where fires were more a key factor to their life. Granted, the ones I read about aren't in the context of hitting an oil rig but I've been able to come to terms with it and be okay! I'm excited to see it in theaters!
I’m so hyped to see Twisters. It looks like what I wanted Twister to be: a really dumb, fun disaster movie that doesn’t take itself too seriously like the original film did.
Twister is my favourite movie! Completely feel you with the reactions! I agree huge references to the original Twister! I’m interested to find out why Dorothy is featured? Maybe a shout out to Bill with be mentioned? I don’t know but so happy to find someone with a genuine reaction to this because as a kid I used to play “twister” and when it was windy or story in the UK I would pretend to act out scenes from Twister. They’ll never beat the original I know but I’m so excited and happy they are bringing the elements back! Very nostalgic to me and even though I am no professional storm chaser, I do get goosebumps when I see a storm. P.s. I cried too watching the trailers and still sometimes when I watch Twister 😊 x
people in my class got to be in the movie twister 2 it was pretty awesome there's another movie coming out soon called jurassic games 2 I got to help out with it!
Into the storm just turn a tornado on fire from a small gas leak while this one is actually exploding a facility. Also it's a movie so it's not meant to be realistic, remember when Bill & Jo drove into a fully complete house that was lifted from it's foundation with very little damage and didn't get hit by any debris in a F5 tornado? Also the fireworks seem fun, but there are real rocket probes. So maybe this is a play off of that.

I really enjoyed this trailer , It got me some vibes (a lot of vibes🤣)from the original one with Roland Emmerich's style. Yes , the fireworks sequence was a dafaq moment for me too Tyler🤣. There's also another version of the trailer , the International one , which has a lot of new scenes and new informations about the story (here In Italy warner bros distributed the International version on Its channel). Can't wait to see more videos soon Tyler , I also remind you that my disaster short film Is still in the works😉✌🏻. Greetings from Italy.
I wanna point out the rodeo scene the truck driving away that gets sucked up is a 1984 jeep J10 hancho 4x4 just different color but it’s nice to see references to the first movie
After seeing this trailer my first comment was "it is Into the Storm with better actors and more action". I blame that sentiment on the firenado and the "interesting" wedge in the clip. My current bet is I see this in the theater at least 3 times even with this second trailer. I saw the OG 5 times, not including more recent times they brought it back like Alamo draft house or the drive-in theater. That would make my total 7. That is a high number to top, but we will see. I do have an idea for a video for you to do. Compare these trailers to the OG trailers and see where they are similar.
I was also having some not fond flashbacks to Into the Storm. I do feel like this makes more sense to me in terms of there being a firenado in this capacity, so they have that going for them. There’s so much in the trailer that I do love and I feel like the finished product will be a slam dunk, but I was just taken aback by some of these choices.
Fr, this trailer was a little over the top even for me who loves that stuff. Firework tornado is probably a stunt by Tyler’s crew for views. Or maybe to simulate how to blow up a tornado? Firenado at least looks more accurate from what I’ve seen compared to into the storm. As much research as they’ve done, doing a tornado movie is hard since it’s all been done before. I feel like it’s both a love letter and guilty pleasure 😂

Yeah, it felt slightly campy in nature, probably to promote its soundtrack album. Now the International trailer is a lot different and probably more suitable for you guys. It's more serious in tone and pretty much reveals the main heroine's tragic backstory (if you know, you know).
