This is my most anticipated album for 2024! Vola just doesn't miss man they are so original, unique and different just a fantastic band. If I were to rank all the singles from favourite to least favourite even though they are all still bangers I would say I Don't Know How We Got Here, Cannibal, Paper Wolf then Break My Lying Tongue
@coreyclip1 I really enjoy your reactions! I’m huge fan of VOLA myself and can’t wait to watch them live on the 1st of November in Aarhus, Denmark, the day the new record drops.
A humble recommendation for you would be another Danish band called “Mew” as they have some of the same elements as VOLA. I know for a fact that VOLA draws inspiration from Mew which you can also hear. It’s not heavy, but very dreamy and at times a bit weird.
For a start, I would recommend their album “Frengers”.

Not bad, but I'm already somewhat tired of the chorus, and I wish they would have come up with some more variation.

I enjoyed the song in general. The melody on the chorus is great, but I have to say, the verse melody kinda sounds like Stone Leader Falling Down, not to mention this formula they have for choruses is kinda getting stale. They did it in Stray the Skies, and Inside Your Fur, where they start with a big sounding chord and a melody in the background, wait a little and come with the vocals.
@@ThePedroalone yeah maybe I'm just tired of that formula. I like the formula they use on songs like 24 light years and I don't know how we got here a lot more
