The LRT itself already sounds really spooky especially the motor. Once the announcement system glitched and the announcer's voice was super distorted not to mentioned muffled
I'm gonna be a part of the first batch of students at SIT Punggol next year, so there is a chance I may be using this station regularly when it happens.
Even Ten Mile Junction/Junction Ten formerly seem 'spooky' if you are alone. I mean the station itself is on enclosed area. You don't see anything. Very rarely people take lrt from there. I have taken twice. Once in the morning & once in the evening. To be honest,if you are the only one boarding there, you feel the chills. Although they have since stop the service, they should have at least a bus service turning back to CCK rather than asking people to cross the 4 junction to go Hillion Mall bus interchange.
So people will ask after 20years the train Still stop at this unused station. Well my Theory is that since the lrt is automated they stop at this station to match the systems timetable's .
They should really open that station. I took a glance at it October of last year. Still the same and left untouched. It really deserves a Major Rehabilitation and Opening
Imagine on Halloween the SBS transit decided to put a mannequin body hanging from the ceiling, and turn off all the lights. People will be glad it doesn't open😂
it's same issue as to the Woodleigh station on NEL, it was built as a just in case of development. the uproar was why new just in-case stations are built as shells and not fully kit out stations (CCL Bukit Brown, DTL Hume, etc) (also anyone remembered the Original white elephant standee uproar?)
@@PrograErrorI mean developments take time, it costs less to build an infill and later build the station interior than to build a completely new infill station without the shell. If you think Teck Lee was bad there's a metro station in China called Caojiawan in Chongqing that was built in a forest that opened when the surroundings were built.

Oooo sus

That'll be interesting!
No scared. Many types of qui from SIT will be using it
The station has become a fossil of the 2000s
Kinda, although they did add the platform screen doors
Teck Lee station is now surrounded by HDB Blocks. Maybe Teck Lee station will open in 2024!

Strangely clean despite still unopened, I mean look at the shiny bench and dustbin at the station
Plus with electric supply to the station also
I believe the station is still maintained quite regularly
@@glitchFan2428 Dunno if you noticed I've seen a short showing an SBS staff manually opening the train door and getting off at that station
@@NgKQ96 mmm I haven't actually seen that. Sounds interesting
At least they added some platform barriers in this station, yet to be opened asap.
Those are barriers with fixed openings
Yeah it was part of some refurbishment program

Possibly. Although it stops for a much shorter time than at other stations

Probably soon when SIT punggol opens and there's more traffic flow in the area
They ARE going to open it in 2027
well... they need to make that road access first... IIRC the master map has a road going thru below the viaducts... plus it has those walkways IIRC
@@walkersretirement
No, in August 2024
Teck Lee should be made into a exhibition when opened with all of the things that are still there preserved and maybe shown somewhere jn the station
Soon it might be opened
Sometimes train doors do open at the station, sometimes staff has been spotted

Google: “permanently closed”
The station: *bruh I was never opened*
That's kinda sus
It spooky if the train door open when ur alone at night or breakdown at the station
Ooooo yea that would be sus af
Someone posted on a defunct discord server that it actually opened once during revenue service

Teck Lee is opening in August 2024 confirmed in conjunction with SIT campus
The station will definitely need a facelift if it were to open anytime soon
I have a question….. if it’s not open to the public why does the LRT make a brief stop at Teck Lee and not skip over to the next station?
Perhaps it's got to do with the signalling system being pre programmed like this. I'm not sure
Punggol north avenue just released already is closer to Teck Lee

Because it is spooky 🤷♂️

freakin Teck lee just there collecting dust until the freakin “DEVELOPMENTS” are ready. WHYYY
