Hi! I recently bought the controller and have found it a bit stiff when trying to press the left stick and flick (eg - for sprinting). Do you think it's a problem with my unit or something common with these controllers?
My controller doesn't have any such issues. Try using it for a while else get it replaced within the replacement window.

How are the pressure sentive Sticks LT And RT in comparison to redgear pro
Well I haven't tested the Redgear pro gamepad yet, I'm planning too soon. However, the new production models of Ares seem to be delivered to customers with the resolved triggers issue that I highlighted in the video, they are going from 1% to 100% now. (as confirmed by some user in comments). Meaning this gamepad now is better than ever and can be considered buying in place of the outdated redgear pro.
@@HarryWT its just one person Can you make a Comparison video between Redgear Pro and CB Ares because redgear has also dropped the quality of their triggers I bought 2 units both of them had Very poor triggers which worked for a week only

Read gear uses normal pressure triggers, however ares uses mechanical trigger which works and last for a long run

You can continue using the gamepad while it is being charged. It doesn't work wired as it works only wireless. However, charging while gaming still works.

Might because of the low battery light blink while pressing the trigger. After it gets charged I'll check again and if the issue remains then I will return the product.

The CONs you have mentioned are somewhat corrected by Cosmic Byte in its Latest Version of Ares -
1. Pressure Trigger sensitivity starts from 1%
2. The type C OTG is still not provided but an USB Extension is provided for the Dongle.

Red light means a different input unit. When gamepad is connected change the input unit by pressing and holding the home button for at least 5 seconds and it will turn to blue. Then it should work just fine.

Your controller seems to be getting connectivity issues that are really common with the Nebula gamepad. This shouldn't be the case with Ares. The only solutions are 1) get it replaced if under warranty and 2) keep the gamepad in clear line of sight with the connected dongle and remain within the 8 meter range.
@@HarryWT i already replaced it once the old controller has the left joystick issue so i somehow get it replaced but this problem is like sometimes not a major issue tho i sit just 1 feet away brother while playing still having this issue

should work just fine as I've tested it on a oneplus 7t and it worked. both have snapdragon. 8t has the same chip as my s20 fe 5g too

Which has better vibration
Callisto was made and launched way earlier than Ares. So the mechanics and design and everything for that matter is much better in Ares. Callisto has it's own wireless version but both of those gamepads are outdated. Ares is sort of a relaunch of Callisto in a way.
I don't know why but this controller is giving me so many issues on my win 11 os laptop, it just doesn't connect to the dongle not sure why, my laptop is up to date, readgear controller connect without issue but ares I Have to spend at least 10-15 mins on connect-disconnected dongle, resetting controller. I think it's win 11 compatibility issue maybe.

@@HarryWT ik It was working for 15 days and now it's not working. I tried everything, even resetting the laptop. Even now sometimes it randomly connects but once disconnected it just doesn't connect again for a long time. Now sometimes it shuts down my Bluetooth such a mess. I think I have to check with customer support

That's the usb extension cable which i didn't get when i bought this. It's to connect to an android tv so that there is no disconnections.

Hi.
It still works just like it did on the 1st day.
I use it occasionally, not everyday. But the thing is that I keep it in it's case and clean it after every use so dust does not accumulate or enters the joysticks even by mistake.
There hasn't been any connectivity issues with Ares but there are some issues with the Nebula gamepad which I've discussed in my videos.

Just use some sharp object like a pin only if the gamepad is malfunctioning. I haven't tried yet as mine is perfectly fine.
