Man this was when the dynasty began some of favorite memories during this run as a Cowboys fan until Jerry had to go and ruin it but man Jay Novachek was one brilliant TE during this run........
Steve Entman got crushed by E Erik Williams in this game. E hit him so hard to the turf he tore 3 knee ligaments. They thought his career was over but he rebounded and had some good years in Miami. Entman was a beast but E was insanely strong before his 94 car accident.
I was still just a kid when big E had the car accident in the 94 season but after that even I could see he wasn't anywhere near the same player#cowboysnation
@fan0000 It's so true. It's similar to CB Kevin Smith. He tore his Achilles in the opening game of the '95 season (MNF against the Giants). He returned for the 1996 season and had some good years. However, he was never the same player as he was pre-injury.
@@joerules829 absolutely. Grew up just outside 465 off Rockville Rd on far west side. Tickets were given to me by a Co worker. No way my family could afford tickets lol
@@brentwarner9349 that's cool mate. I've been a Viking fan since the early 70s and I was born and raised in Oklahoma (there are many Cowboy fans in Oklahoma, and my best mate in HS was born in Texas and raised in our little town in Oklahoma...of course he was a Cowboy fan of epic proportions lol) and I believe I was the only Viking fan amongst all my mates in HS lol. Of course, going to games to watch them play was out of the question....even if they got as close as Dallas, Kansas City or St.Louis. I didn't get to see the Vikings in person until 2012, and that game was in London (I have lived in the UK nearly 20 years....and counting)! They played the Steelers that day and it was a brilliant game, and came down to the wire with them winning due to Big Ben fumbling the ball inside the 20 yd line. I have now been able to see them play twice now, with them playing the Browns....a year before Baker was drafted by them (I'm also a huge OU fan, and was able to see AD play in the Steeler game, and he had a big game with a long TD run. I don't go to all the London NFL games (of course no games in London last season) but, I have been to 6 games so far. It's just amazing that I would have most highly likely never been able to attend any NFL games had I stayed in the US lol. I've been to numerous CFB games (mainly OU)...even flew across The Irish Sea once (also in 2012) to watch Notre Dame vs Navy in Dublin Ireland (that ND team was the one that got stomped by Alabama in the 2013 BCS NC Game). Dublin hosts a CFB game every 4 years (I think that's the correct span) and, one season a few years back they hosted some top High School, DII, DIII and FBS games all week, in a American Football Festival. I unfortunately didn't get to go over that year. You can bet that I will at least go to London if the Vikings ever come over again lol.
James Washington was one of my favourite players, very underrated during the Cowboys dynasty. He reminds me of Ronnie Lott, hits like a sledgehammer
I agree. Darren Woodson was also a great defensive player. A big-time hitter.
@@steelhere5519Yeah, both players were ferocious hitters.

I remember watching this game when it aired on TV back in 93. Loved the fake FG! Perfect execution.
I was at this game, it was no contest. The Cowboys were just toying with the Colts.
Amazing how Lassic started to run much better as soon as Emmitt Smith came back.
The Cowboys went out and destroyed an eventually bad team . The Colts wouldn't be competitive until 1995.
Cowboys first trip to Indianapolis.
I was there. Biggest cowboys fan in Indiana. Couldn't believe I was watching my favorite football team in person.
@@brentwarner9349 I guess that’s something those of us that live 20 minutes from the stadium take for granted.

@@brentwarner9349 I live in Fort Worth. So I’m 40 minutes from where Texas Stadium was and 20 minutes from AT&T. I’ve probably been to about 50 games.

Wonder why Jeff George wasn't playing? He was obviously better than those other 2 QBs
