There Is Power In Silence”, Pastor Datina Herd and Meditating Life Center in Louisville, KY. SCRIPTURE: Psalm 131 and 1 Kings 19:1-18. We must learn to “Be still and know” that God is God. He will be exalted. Believers should set aside time daily to just be silent, perhaps in prayer and meditation or even in “Me” and “God AND Me” time. But we must learn that there are times to speak, and there are times to be silent, either because we are trusting God, applying wisdom, or waiting for a move or word from God - especially in these last days. we must be careful to not allow our feelings or circumstances cause us to absorb the “noise pollution” - the voices inside and outside of us - that can distract us from the plan(s) and purpose God has for our lives.
