I really enjoyed watching you play and with both you and mat commentating, A question i have for you and speed runners in general is do you guys ever "normally" play the game? like not trying to speed run it but just playing it without major glitches and stuff.

It's low af. My YT volume, on my computer, never has to be raised. I had to raise it A LOT for this VOD.

Regole is such a master of this game, I'm not a speedrunner myself but I enjoy hearing his knowledge so much.

The audio is very quiet, otherwise it is always nice to see a DS run

Dragon Tooth has always been busted. Glad that new strats allow the use of it instead of using the Black knight Halberd from darkroot

God I love this game
Someone remind me what the differences are between Remaster and Prepare To Die Edition... I remember when Remaster came out that some people were talking about how Prepare To Die was better in some ways, but I forget what the differences were. I have only played the original Dark Souls and then Remaster years later. The only major difference I remember (other than the DLC zones being in the remaster) was that Blighttown runs at 60fps instead of like 2fps.
Is it just me, or is the audio super quiet on this and needs boosting?

Why is the audio so quiet? Maxed out volume on both UA-cam and my laptop and it's still only half as audible as the average video.

why do the detour to kill dusk when you first have to go to archives?
I think the blue golem only spawns after speaking with/killing dusk

Do you normally start with 10 estus?
Yep. 10 Estus at Firelink Shrine.
The bonfires that have Fire Keepers at them start kindled to give 10 Estus (Firelink, Quelaag's sister, and the Darkmoon Knightess at the first Anor Londo bonfire)
Firekeeper bonfires give you 10 without Kindling (Firelink specifically)
Resting at firelink will give you 10. Most other bonfires start at 5
Yes if you rest at Firelink which is kindled from the beginning.
