You are officially my favorite UA-camr this year for loving us so much that you set up the non-slurp audio track. Thank you so much, and I hope others will pick up this brilliant idea!
pastry chef speaking: French vanilla is a term that initially came from the world of ice cream, and actually has nothing to do with the vanilla itself but refers to the fact that the ice cream base contains eggs! so sometimes it can indicate more of that custardy flavor, but more often than not I think it's just adding in the international word to make it sound fancy and European :P
You are just a gift to the UA-cam and coffee community. The dub audio thing, bringing the folgers out.. I sent this video to my mom and I'm only 2 minutes in 😂
The anti slurp audio is immensely helpful, thank you. I dont usually get irritated by slurping or mouth noises except when tired and would otherwise be unable to watch the video. Many thanks to the editor for going through such an arduous and tedious task.
Thank you so much for the non-slurping audio track! A very elegant solution, and I hope it's not too much work for your editors to keep doing in the future. It's very much appreciated!
I use my coffeemate powdered creamer, maybe half a teaspoon or so, to add thickness to my coffee, some real 10% cream, then add honey for sweetness. It ends up tasting caramelly and delicious!
Id definitely be interested in DIY tasty coffee creamer. I add about 25ml of a french vanilla creamer to 100ml of standard milk for use in steamed milk, just to add a tiny bit of extra flavor. Would love to be able to do that with higher quality creamer!
I actually found an excellent cheat I use. You can use heavy cream and freeze it in ice cubes. Then you can drop the cube right into the cup of coffee. I find it actually makes the coffee at almost the perfect drinking temperature right away. I do that or half and half combined with a pump of vanilla/simple syrup.

I would love to see you conduct a taste test for dairy-based creamers that you would actually consider using in your coffee. Like Chobani or some other brands that don’t use a lot of artificial ingredients.
Yeah, Coffee Mate was way over-represented here. Often the brand of coffee creamer is more important than the flavor. There are also better dairy-free creamers available that weren't present here! Like Califia and SOWN.

You are officially my favorite UA-camr this year for loving us so much that you set up the non-slurp audio track. Thank you so much, and I hope others will pick up this brilliant idea!
pastry chef speaking: French vanilla is a term that initially came from the world of ice cream, and actually has nothing to do with the vanilla itself but refers to the fact that the ice cream base contains eggs! so sometimes it can indicate more of that custardy flavor, but more often than not I think it's just adding in the international word to make it sound fancy and European :P
the added audio without slurping is amazing and shows how much effort you've put in this "test"
I can't even begin to describe how thankful I am for the no-slurp version. Such a thoughtful thing to do. Thanks James ❤️
Yes, but did you listen to both just to decide which you liked better?
It almost made me tear up. 🥲
@@telanis9Especially when people are listening on headphones.
@@biedawo nope because I hate eating and slurping sounds
Do a round 2 of holiday flavors this winter. Eggnog, pumpkin spice, etc. there are TONS of them to try.
Yes! This! ☝️
Definitely! Pumpkin spice creamer remains my favourite
ill be surpised if you can get them in the UK, no one here really uses creamers.
James with the Rice Krispies is the same energy as Captain Holt eating a marshmallow for the first time
what. do I need to look that up?
@@RaccoonHenry Yes
@@shimoyake I looked it up. time well spent!
@@shimoyake TEE HEE HEE HEE!! HEE HEE!!!
@@RaccoonHenry I KNEW IT!!!
You’re such a joy to watch. I enjoy your opinions and expertise on coffee and all related products/technology.
I don't drink coffee and never have but I watch these videos for some reason. The no slurp option is the best thing that's happened on this channel
You are just a gift to the UA-cam and coffee community. The dub audio thing, bringing the folgers out.. I sent this video to my mom and I'm only 2 minutes in 😂
The rice krispies cremer pushed James into the realm of delighted absurdity 😅
It turned him into Winnie the Pooh. Well, the voice, hopefully not the lack of pants.
The giggles were amazing!! Jajaja😂
@@NamesForDogs Who knows what's going on below that table!
The anti slurp audio is immensely helpful, thank you.
I dont usually get irritated by slurping or mouth noises except when tired and would otherwise be unable to watch the video.
Many thanks to the editor for going through such an arduous and tedious task.
I didn’t think I’d prefer the non-slurp audio, but like… I really appreciated it! Thank you team for creating the extra track
YES PLEASE to the homemade coffee creamer investigation video. I would love a shelf stable version, but also a rich bougie full dairy recipe too.
Thank you for the non slurp version! You should do some real cream flavors, Starbucks has a bunch of flavors that are pretty good.
Yeah, and fake
Thank you so much for the non-slurping audio track! A very elegant solution, and I hope it's not too much work for your editors to keep doing in the future. It's very much appreciated!
100% Ditto. I enabled it immediately as he said it. So appreciated.
His joy from the Rice Krispies creamer was absolutely contagious, thank you it made me smile.
He found the magic laughing potion.
“That’s not good for you” made me laugh way more than it should have.
He turned into the Joker there
Also "Just called it Almond, Coward! " is a great word to be slapped on his merch
I use my coffeemate powdered creamer, maybe half a teaspoon or so, to add thickness to my coffee, some real 10% cream, then add honey for sweetness.
It ends up tasting caramelly and delicious!
Thank you for doing a non-slurp track; I loved your content before but having this version just makes it that tiny bit more accessible!
I just kept hitting "M" on my keyboard every time he brought the spoon to his mouth, lol.
Saying Nestle "has a stellar reputation otherwise" made me laugh harder than I think I've ever laughed at a UA-cam video. Caught me off guard. Bravo!!
the audio track usage here is actually the best thing I’ve ever seen in a UA-cam video. I like coffee a lot but I’m subscribing just over the diligence and pride in one’s craft is takes to delete all the slurping noises
James was high in sugar at 11:34 loved his genuine laugh😂😂😂
I loved that too. It was like he lost his mind
James your non-slurp audio setting has saved me. My wife has misophonia and while we love your coffee insight at first slurp she'd have to tap out. Thank you for taking the extra time to create the second audio track for people like her who might have a visceral reaction to such sounds. You're the best!
Watching this 9 hours after publication, there is lot of slurping and no audio track. Looking for a button to press to activate it!
@@sh8736 if youre on the YT app, in the upper right corner of the video tap settings. At the very bottom there is the option “Audio Tracks” the slurp is labeled “English (United States) dubbed”
@@sh8736press the little gear button and then audio track to change it!
@@sh8736if you're on mobile tap on the player and go for the settings cog. You should see an audio track option tap that and select dubbed and the sluping disappears like magic
Yes to the homemade shelf stable creamer video! That would be super interesting!
Hearing James call it a “popped tart” really made my day
I like how James acts more and more buzzed as he progresses
I love that you included a non-slurp option! I personally don't need it, but I appreciate the attention to accessibility :)
I'm not sure I've ever enjoyed seeing someone have a nervous breakdown that much: from "Call it almond, you cowards" at 6:46 to uncontrolled giggling at 11:32
I am 100% here for James' giggling at the raw rice krispies coffee creamer
@@IanSantopietro lmao right. Saw him fill a spoonfull of it and was like "OH, hes just GOIN for it!"
I really appreciate you and your editors taking the time to remove the slurping sounds - absolute lifesaver.
The 'popped (sic) tart'. That was the most wonderfully posh slip ever.
Not only am I grateful for the no slurp audio but I also incredibly grateful that you put yourself through trying these for us! As someone who has never tried coffee "cremes", I now know (that I probably don't need to) which single one I could get that might be worth trying! Thank you! Your time and effort is so appreciated. 10/10 video!
I would love to see you conduct a taste test for dairy-based creamers that you would actually consider using in your coffee. Like Chobani or some other brands that don’t use a lot of artificial ingredients.
Same, I love the chiobani. Simple list of ingredients.
Ahhh yes I clicked on this to see if he had the Chobani but he doesn’t. Chobani is amazing and has recently expanded its flavor list.
Maybe Starbucks creamer to compare
Yeah, Coffee Mate was way over-represented here. Often the brand of coffee creamer is more important than the flavor. There are also better dairy-free creamers available that weren't present here! Like Califia and SOWN.
I absolutely love that you put in the no slurp version! Im sure it's extra work for you or your team, but it's very much appreciated, and i hope it's viable to keep doing in future videos!😁
#1 takeaway: James doesn't like mint chocolate icecream and I took that personally
I only started getting into coffee because of this channel and recently I tried some chocolate mint flavoured coffee beans (they are like coffee beans I guess coated with artificial flavour?) and it's probably my favorit coffee so far.
and yea, chocolate mint icecream is so good.
ahem. I, myself, for me personally and not pointing fingers at, say, my wife and daughter or my esteemed fellow UA-cam commenters, feel that James was a bit soft on the whole mint thing. He could have spoken a solid truth here, but he waffled, leaving his feelings (and mine) nearly ambiguous.
@@Suko120where did you get these beans? As a mint choc chip lover I must try these.
well you really arent meant to eat tooth-
@lylelyle186I’m with James 2 😂💯✅❕
