The non slurp is one of the most brilliant and considerate things I have ever seen someone do. Bravo. 🙌
legit! i didn’t even realize how much i hated the sound until he started lol. so glad he made an option for it to be off
Yes! Loved it! ❤
It’s a great idea. I always ended up having to turn off the video despite it being interesting because the slurping got too much. This is a game changer
This!!!
It's really such a beautiful option for those of us with misophonia.
I feel that it’s not entirely coincidental that most of the creamer containers look like they should be holding fabric conditioners.
Lmao that was exactly what I was thinking
They could have gone for milk jug style, but no. Fabric softener
Makes me wanna drink a bottle of Tide
My wife was half-watching this next to me and asked me why James was drinking fabric softener 🤣
Fabric conditioner goes better with coffee. Lol
Watching him slowly descend into madness is always the best part of these kind of videos
Super underrated comment on this video!
Hahahahha yesssss agreed
the mint breakdown 😂
and the rice krispie spoonful 😂
I don’t even use creamer but I love to watch his comments. 😂
“Nestlé, you have a *stellar* reputation otherwise so I don’t know why I’m surprised at this”
That had me D E A D
Same lol 😂
'Homemade coffee creamer' is just the type of weird, hilarious vibe I love from this channel. Go for it!
I never knew I'd be interested in that, but now I am
I'm in. There's high quality milk powders, that could be a place to start.
I am very tempted to make it
I’m seconding, thirding, and fourthing this!!
Yes please, I wish a type with out sugar.
The awkwardness with which he says "popped tart" fills me with such joy. Keep being awesome, James.
I'm gonna call them popping tarts. I invented that one.
"Mother, I wish to enjoy popped tarts to break my fast, as the other children do."
Dear lord my stomach hurts from laughing so hard.
Big Mr Burns energy
Love, love mint chocolate ice cream. And creamers. Honestly, you know the reason the flavor isn't as intense as you'd like: it means people use MORE CREAMER! And that means more money for Big Powder.
I run a few coffee shops and am obsessed with the perfect shot, using only the best single origin coffee I can find .. I tirelessly train my staff in perfect extraction.. and at home I dump vanilla international delights into my muddy French press coffee and I LOVE IT. xo

The existence of a separate audio track, complete with NO slurps, absolutely blew my mind. I love this and I love you. 🥰☕
Same 😊😂
I'm here for the slurps but I appreciate the effort that went into making a non slurp track.
great use of this feature, thank you really apresheate it
Anyone know how he did this? The audio lines up like perfectly
@@wadecodezI'd assume he payed an editor to go through the audio track and cut it out
I love when creators go above and beyond the norm for accessibility. It’s not just the alternate audio track, it’s also your longstanding dedication to proper subtitles. Super professional, thank you for putting in the effort.
That’s so cool, I love that different dubs and sound tracks is a thing now
I really like that I can have the slurps and people that can't stand them don't have to. Really like it.
Thank you for the no slurp version! I’ve never seen someone do this and it’s amazing. Definitely couldn’t have watched this without it
THANK YOU for the non-slurping audio option!! I have misophonia and I often have to stop watching content like this because the sounds become too bothersome for me. Never had an option like that before. It's wonderful!
Ditto!! 👍🏻
Double ditto!
Get therapy you need help
Yes I have the same problem slurping or the sound of people coughing, sneezing, speaking too quickly or too slowly etc...
@@neverbeganformemaybe learn how misophonia works before commenting on it.
James laughing after having a spoonful of rice crispies creamer is so wholesome. It got the inner child out of James.
I thought that was the sugar rush hitting, but hysterically funny nonetheless!
It really did!
That was so cool …just transported to candy land
@@maraswen5614 it was a little bit scary though 😂😂😂
Like a small child full of caffeine and sugar
The fact that James edited out the slurping for us is more ridiculously sweet than even these creamers. Also the silly expressions of disapproval really made me laugh.
Yeah, that's awesome! Very clever too
I dont want to be "that guy", but do you understand how mich money this guy makes with this channel? He does not have to edit anything himself, be assured.
Yes, thank you so much for the edit! It worked great and I appreciated the option to remove the slurps
@@goodtogo2876okay, fine. The fact that James made the decision to allocate the resources and time of him and his team to make an alternate edit for people to enjoy the video more. Better?
@@just_don_thingshaha i like that you took time to reply as per the commenter 😂 people don’t like other people complimenting other people also apparently. But i was genuinely delighted by the soundtrack as this is is probably the first time i have come across this.
Make and sell creamers. I’ll love the ads,
“I don’t like creamers, but at least mines has flavours.” The Hoff.
I promise I’ll buy two bottles.
2:33 "maybe a plant based alternative?" "YOU'RE the plant based alternative" that sequence was brilliant
The slurp audio thing is genius, I wonder what other creative things people can do with that
Do you know Hames Joffmann?
How about, extra slurp?
asking for a friend.
Absolute genius, although I think it should be flipped: no slurps as default and people can choose to turn it on for the pain.
He's done another thing with it on his Patreon that I thought was clever. I'd go into more details, but I don't want to spoil it!
Custom titles for audio tracks has been requested to UA-cam but I honestly don't know if they'll ever do it. I suspect there's a tonne of ways it could be abused that I haven't thought about...
James' insistence in calling them "popped tarts" is so endearing.
THE popped tarts lol
adorable
THIS IS THE BEST PART OMG
I died. Even better the second time!
Popular tarts would've gotten me rofling
And Riced Krispies!
I love the part where James briefly laughs like the joker 😂
thank you for making a non slurp track for friends w sensory issues!!!! genuinely touched my heart :,)
Man, I loved you before, but finding a way to deliver for both us non-slurpers and the pro-slurp wackos is absolutely saintly. A hundred thank yous James.
Ahem - That's only 10 thank yous... ;)
It is a genius use of the dubbing feature congrats
We may be wackos ... but we won. THE SLURPS HAVE RAINED SUPREME.
Your sensory issue doesn't make "pro-slurpers" "wackos"
@@MW9X12 a thank-you is worth approximately 10p
As one of the non-slurp crowd, I have to say your dubbed track is BRILLIANT! That you care enough to do this makes me like your work even more, and I already thought highly of you.
How do I switch to that please I can't figure it out
@@anxenOn mobile it's under the settings gear menu. There's an audio track option where you can switch to English dubbed. It's probably something similar on desktop.
its sooo great!!! i love the creative use of this new feature of youtube and the amount of additional work the team does for the non slurp crowd is so niceeeee ❤🎉
Very much appreciated. I don't get triggered by the slurping at all but if I have a choice I'll skip it.
Seconded. Thanks for the non slurp!
Oh my gosh, you’re a GENIUS for making a non-slurping version…. I’m ver impressed and thankful, love the vid!
I. Am. OBSESSED. with the ability to “change the language” and make it more bearable to listen to!! ❤❤I appreciate you❤❤
Perfect time for Hoffman to create a homemade tiramisu flavoured creamer I think
Along those same lines, since he put coffee in coffee cake, he should also make coffee cake creamer to put in coffee.
Needed for sure for sure
Definitely not a créme!
If James could manage a really good tiramisu creamer? Well, I wouldn't give my firstborn for it... but surely he can manage with only one arm right?
That's just eggnog
Hearing James say “popped” tart is what I didn’t know I needed this Monday.
Like an alien recounting his vacation on earth “I particularly enjoyed their popped tarts and iced creams”
And he enunciates it so beautifully 🙂
Makes me think of captain holt from Brooklyn 99 describing a marshmallow
@@cheatermkcheaterson I felt that during the giggling of the Rice Krispies.
Seriously I enjoyed that so much. I could listen to it on loop
The non slurp version is such an amazing idea! please keep doing this if possible!
You’re such a joy to watch. I enjoy your opinions and expertise on coffee and all related products/technology.
The separate audio track is so amazing - that extra level of effort is insanely impressive compared to other youtubers wow.
Some even mock people with misophonia and keep chewing in front of the mic. It's just disgusting behaviour.
@@TheNinnyfee I would hardly call it mocking. There is a huge population of people (not including myself) that really enjoy mouth sounds and slurping for the ASMR. The beauty of UA-cam is that if you're not enjoying a video you can just stop and watch something else. I rather enjoyed that he included another audio track for this one
it genuinely impressed me so much
I love that the option is there, but I’ll always leave the slurps on!
Thanks for that.
James’ laugh after tasting the rice crispy creamer by itself was exactly how I needed to start my morning 😆
It's such a good laugh! Also, I am hoping @hamesjoffmann can make good use of that laugh
11:25 if anyone wants to jump there.
@@SnyperWolf101bet lmao
Genuinely, thank you for providing an audio track without slurping! As a researcher who has and studies misophonia (an aversion to sounds like slurping), it's really cool to see! :)
First James Hoffman video that came through my feed and i actually scrolled past probably a dozen times because I just didn’t get it. But turns out to maybe just be my favorite all time. Thanks for continuing to come up with great concepts and production. You’re a legend 🙌
He’s the Alton Brown of coffee
4:23 'Oh dirty hazelnut no' is a series of words I never expected to hear out loud, but weirdly comforted by James saying it 😂
I also loved that one 😹
Can't wait to see what Hames Joffman does with that one. 😂
New ring tone
It's so cute when he started laughing after the Rice Krispies one. I was like, "Oh no, he's delirious now!" Hahahaha!
Wow, didn't know how much I needed that second audio option. Thank you so much !
Yes! Please teach us how to make “good” creamers at home!
yes! definitely!
I love James just sitting there laughing after tasting the creamers by themselves 😂
And he said they weren't fun.
Yeah, but is not a "good" laugh, it made me feel like he was losing his mind.
I think it was the caffeine driving the desire to taste those straight up😂
1:14 the way he called them "popped tarts" in English accent felt SO good
The smile when he says it makes me think he’s trying to make his own rage bait
I just picture an over-microwaved mini fruit pie... heat it until it pops!
Thank you so much for not saying 'British' accent!
Gave me serious Captain Holt vibes 😂
@@J-146 Just a shame that there weren't any Marshed Mallow in the Rice Krispy Treats.
I ABSOLUTELY want to see you make your own creamer, that sounds like so much fun
This was quite possibly the funniest video you’ve done for a while. Loved it, laughed so much!
"Just call it almond, cowards!" loving James' fierceness this episode 🤣
Also, i genuinely want to see James react to the average person's morning coffee. Like, they make it as they normally would, and James tries it and sees what the casual coffee drinker has every day
Edit: then, James could make his preferred coffee and let them try it, and see if they genuinely prefer whatever their routine coffee is, or maybe they just hadn't been exposed to the good stuff
That sounds really interesting! I'd watch that!
I mean I just watched him put Coffee Mate in Folgers
Wouldn't a lot be disapointing as it'd be just black coffee or maybe just a cappuccino.
@@bemde that would be cool for the community, but a very biased experiment. Most people who subscribe to this channel don't anymore drink the kind of abomination most people have as a morning coffee
Sounds like a lot of torture to put the poor man through 🤣
The anti slurp audio is immensely helpful, thank you.
I dont usually get irritated by slurping or mouth noises except when tired and would otherwise be unable to watch the video.
Many thanks to the editor for going through such an arduous and tedious task.
I just have to thank you for the immense genius and kindness of having a slurp-free version!! Please set this trend ❤
James trying these straight and then just giggling for a few minutes is what i am here for
Yes! I feel like we went straight to Hames Joffman right in the video.
We only get to see James laugh this hard when he's consumed this much sugar and caffeine this quickly lol
I didn't know how much I needed the non slurp track after I heard the one with slurps. It's very considerate. Thank you James!
Thank you so much for making a second audio track!
Seeing James descend into madness while tasting these was hilarious
He came in with a slightly manic energy and then just gradually escalated it. Beautiful.
THANK YOU for including a slurp-free version of this video! This is truly a big step forward for those of us who cannot stand everyday annoyances!

I wholeheartedly agree! It's a very pleasant surprise and very very much appreciated.
Agree. My spouse makes me turn off the tasting videos. To her worse when you’re not watching as all you hear is the scraping tone.
I really appreciated it as well!
I wouldn't mind the slurping, but it's SO LOUD here. So thank you for the alternate audio track for that reason.
As someone who works in Foreign language dubbing and subtitling, I never imaged the UA-cam language assess ability feature would be used for something so unique but I do have to say you've nailed the audio editing for those that don't like a good slurp. Well worth the time I'm sure it took!
Its very easy to review, yes. 😆
I very much appreciate the dual audio tracks. I struggle with certain mouth sounds getting on my nerves so to have the option to watch a video and not be disturbed by this is great
Thank you for letting us know that Coffee Mate Rice Krispies flavoured creamer is a powerful hallucinogenic.

Removing the slurps is such a cool and creative way to use this system, I love it!
Absolutely loved the point when James clearly hits peak sugar and caffeine 😅
This is the equivalent of sampling every brand of cigarettes. Thank you James for sacrificing 3 years of your life for our entertainment :)

i used to work as a manager at starbucks and one of the most popular menu items was the vanilla sweet cream cold brew, which is basically just cold brew with a splash of sweetened creamer in it. we made batches of the sweet cream itself multiple times a day, and it's literally just heavy cream, Starbucks vanilla syrup, and 2% milk. you could definitely one-up starbucks in a homemade creamer video lol
He's looking for shelf-stable ones, though.

I appreciate how when you were talking about the almond thing, you said a "scary chemical word" and then immediately clarified what it actually was and that it isn't necessarily scary
Totally and I learned something about almonds and cherries! But I actually don't like those flavors together. 😬

As a chemist I sometimes wonder how much better the world would be if the general public knew more about all these “scary chemicals” that are actually not scary at all.
