These games are officially as glitchy as Red, Green, and Blue. Pokémon gives Gen 1 a lot of love, and it shows.
Funny how Gen1 is reknown for being glitchy because I barely noticed (i mean, I know/believe it but yeah… if I had never been told/read about it, I wouldn’t have known). I was a Gen1 kid and it’s the one I played the most as a result. Sure, I know of a few well known glitches/bugs, like missingNo (never encountered them though), but this… Scarlet&Violet, it’s on another level entirely.
It’s sad. Considering how many years old this franchise is and how much money it constantly makes, it’s inexcusable to get this result in 2022.

The only bugs I had were the typical camera bugs and 1:59 , and horrible framerate. But seeing it can be much worse....jesus

Same. I had reduced framerate in places and 13:43 once when making sandwiches, but other than that, nothing major or game destroying. I guess some people are lucky and others are unlucky?

I clipped through the floor at the olive roll quest. An npc pushed the olive into me and i fell through the ground. The game crashed and I lost 2h of progress because I turned auto-save off in case of an shiny encounter or something like that... This wasn't hilarious.
Watching these glitch clips has given me more enjoyment than any game I have ever played 😂
@@badz2512 well then that’s your fault for not turning on auto save. One possible shiny is not worth all your game data.

My favorite bug from my play through was when all of my adventuring companions ran straight off a cliff in area zero.
I haven’t encounter any of these bugs in the open world however my frame rate drops down into the 15-20 constantly and the raids are very buggy atm.
I think the glitches are different for each player. Some are more common than others.
I haven't gotten any of the serious ones but I've gotten a lot of glitches. My character disappears a lot when throwing a pokeball, the pokeball floats in midair a lot during the catch wiggle, occasionally I get clips of the map under the world, the framerate BOMBS when entering an area with a lot of people and pokemon, I get huge pauses when a cutscene is supposed to start and when interacting with the stake things. My game even crashed when I went into the electric gym! They are so lucky this game is fun because it should not have been sold like this!
Save, and then restart the game. There appears to be a RAM leak that's causing performance hits after long periods of playing.
Yeah the fps drops and shadows are kinda weird at times but nothing else

I've had plenty of glitchy shadows, and one time when a nearby trainer's pokeball was floating in the air while I battled a wild pokemon, but other than that nothing major. Still, seeing all of these is fucking hilarious. These games are a hot steaming pile and I love it.
