The way the small details have been shown. The moment she stops resisting to her impulses and blinks her eyes shut is when you hear a sound that feels like an immersion deep into water. It’s what drum beats would sound like inside water. She has completely submerged her consciousness under that sensory overload and likewise when she stops dancing we hear a splash like it’s the goldfish finally coming out of water and her coming to her senses. Even her body is wet and drenched as if she just got out of a pool. And a remarkable thing about that 10 second dance bit we have from the other person shows that she isn’t an exception, every other person has an outburst from sensory overload, some are just more pronounced than others. I absolutely love this entire choreography and direction. Watched it three times already
The vibe and mood was great, I would love to have seen this on a new york subway.
My jaw dropped. Enjoyed every bit of it.
