I love Fabian. He just such a great source of comedy. I especially enjoy Fabians blooming friendship with The Ball in Year 1. Going from lowkey mocking The Ball to kinda becoming best friends just... so good. Also, of course, his father is just...*chef kiss*.

This is gorgeous! On a different note though. I always found it weird how condescension and all that between different races (and classes) is established in this universe. But somehow Fabian's reaction to Skrank and his whole deal with Cathilda as a half maid half person just sort of... happens... like that...? Odd xD Edit: I meant that on other occasions it's shown as a more negative thing, with more disapproval/commentary, but here (and with Cathilda) it's just a gag. Just a casual conversation that's shrugged off.

Like, ok. Did you find the condescension weird? Or the way it was established? And how is that modified by the fact that this sort of just. . . happens? I will say, though, that Lou played Fabian as a spoiled, sheltered rich kid. I mean, the dude's favorite snack is kippers. And for the most part, he can't even relate to the rest of the Bad Kids, often even acting antagonistic towards them, at times, without realizing it, and growing to become a better person over the course of each individual year.
