Me again. Love all of your content. This time I want to comment on your filming, video making skills, editing, etc. I know that I would never be able to learn this. I’ve never been a technical person and it’s my greatest weakness professionally and personally. When I see the various cameras you have set up, all of your equipment, the different angles you hit, etc I’m like this woman is a rockstar. So this is an appreciation post for the BTS work you do that doesn’t get as much attention. Well done girl. We’re all very lucky for the free content you provide.

Can I suggest if you pull Caroline Girvan out of the bowl, I’d love to see you do one of her Advent Calendar day workouts, I think you enjoy these ones as they were programmed to be completed in 30 min when one is very busy around the holidays, very doable for all fitness levels. I’m in my late 50s and I often wonder is it really a smart work out?? The one you’re doing is very similar it’s definitely for the 20-30 age set group (in my opinion). What is the definition of insanity? Aside from a crazy mindset, it can means doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results. So…looking forward to your thoughts!
I love being introduce to new workout channels. I'm 57 and now have some arthritis, just in my right big toe. Suddenly doing lunges is not good and this sissy squats would definitely not be happening. I have a disc injury and lost strength in my quad, my physio has me doing those reverse Nordics. I'm only moving 2 inches back and oh boy, I'm shaking!
Ahhh i love this series! I really hope that you get meg squats bc I love her programming and I would love to hear your thoughts on it but I'm having fun!
I pray for your knees and joints for tomorrow's choice. I had seen those infomercials and thought "That is way too much jumping, I would blow out my knees doing this."
I have to admit mobility is my least favorite! I did have a question about it though. I've been watching Dr. Mike's videos (Renaissance Periodization), and got the impression he doesn't think mobility aids in recovery. It is light training while you recover through rest. He explains it "Exercise Scientist Critiques LeBron James' Weight Training . .. Yikes!". It's at the 15 minute mark. I'd link the video, but You Tube won't let me. But perhaps I'm not understanding what he is saying correctly. I took it as I don't have to do mobility anymore, lol. However, I do short mobility workouts from time to time, as they are relaxing.
I'll be making a more in depth video about mobility in the new year, but there's a lot of misconceptions about it. 1) Mobility doesn't aid in recovery. It builds strength through the full range of motion of a joint. 2) It CAN be used while recovering but it also can be used in tandem with formal strength work. 3) Mobility is not relaxing. It's challenging strength work focused on joint movement. I hope that clears up some of the confusion!
@@vdruskas Hey! : ) I did throw in a RP free workout from their channel when Justina was still asking for suggestions and I think I saw someone else do the same, but Justina has so many names now that I really doubt we're going to get lucky this time, unfortunately! :') I hope that someday she will review their workouts all the same, it doesn't have to be necessarily during the vlogmas, right? So fingers crossed!
Do you know what are his credentials? I searched everywhere and can’t find what training he actually did that give him authority to teach other people.

I thought that flexibility was increasing ROM in muscles and mobility is working ROM of joints (ie to avoid stiffness).
I prefer to think of it as passive vs active ROM :)
