Potentially unpopular opinion(s): I don't think there was ANYTHING bad about your old Caroline's review and I also don't think she was offended by it (judging by her comment, I obviously don't know her). You two just basically disagreed about the difficulty of her routines, with you stating that they were not intended for beginners while she was saying that many of her followers were completely new to regular exercise. You were both extremely respectful, the real drama came with some of her deranged fans, as it often happens with popular figures (you're gonna have your deranged stans too, one day! Mark my words!) Anyway, another great day of vlogmas, I loved seeing you dance so happily! Thank you for the great review! Zooey deserves an extra tuna can because she was particularly fluffy today! Just saying!
These are honestly the highlight of my day!❤ I love Emily and her workouts, but i really dislike the calorie count. Its unnecessary. I used to think if i didn't burn a minimum of 700-800 calories in my workout, it was pointless. Now, i just focus on the other factors of my lifestyle to reach my goals. I love that you were able to explain this without insulting or judging Emily herself. Mad respect to you👏

I love Emily's videos for a day when I want to move but not do a full on workout. She is great for that. I also love her message and overall vibe. Her instagram page is awesome - she breaks down a lot of fitness misconceptions and diet culture. She is such a fantastic influencer who promotes science backed information. She is the one of my favorite fitness people on social media.
Im really enjoying this series! I can be pretty hesitant to try new people and new things so watching you do them makes me feel more at ease to branch out a bit!

Oh yay, I was one of the people who suggested emkfit. I totally agree with your review. I do her workouts occasionally for fun with my friends online and they’re amazing for that. 💃 Can’t wait for your Caroline review tomorrow. She’s totally switched things up for me, I never really did strength training before and now it’s a solid 1-2x a week on my schedule with her vids. Recently got a few things checked at my PT and they were really impressed with my form. Have learnt so much from both her and your vids, thanks so much! 👌

I didn't know EMKFit, but thanks to you I'll be adding her videos to my cardio days. I was looking for something that had this dancing vibe to it, but wasn't too complicated (because I have no coordination at all and my dancing skills are the same as a drunken duck's), and I think EMKFit just fits exactly this description, so thank you and Happy Holidays! 😃
I love Emilys workouts :) they made me start working out and two years after starting training with her videos i became a fitnesstrainer myself because i discoverd how much i love working out. p.s. i have to defend emily. she states right away at the start of most of her videos that she is doing hiit style training and not hiit training. the "hiit" refers to the art of training which is training in intervals. but you are right that it's not written on the thumbnails. mabybe you choose one of the few workouts where she doesn't explain it at the beginning. i didn't check that.
Oh yeah I don't expect it to be HIIT and didn't take off any points for that or think ill of her. I do the same thing! It gets people to click on the workout and get some cardio in :)

I have a wildly different video request, hear me out 🙈 please can you film your makeup routine? I would love to see something quick and easy that lasts through workouts and sweating (or wears off in a cute way lol) and I think you would have great experience with this considering all the classes you teach. Emily’s workouts are definitely a 5 on 5 for enjoyment. She has one with latin songs which is my all time favourite. On days I am feeling low I do one of her workouts or just dance to the fitness marshall and it turns my day around. Excited to see your thoughts on Caroline again. I am really wishing you get to review Jasper Macdermot. Fingers crossed 🤞
I love Emkfit too for days I'm feeling a little tired but want some movement. I'd say to your point about liking this more than your last video, sometimes I feel like some videos have better moves than others and obviously we each have personal preferences to the music as well :)
I love emkfit! I can't even remember the last time I went a week without doing one at this point? lol. I actually like that it's more workouty despite having a dance background. When things are more dancey I get into the flow state I go into when I'm dancing, and focus less on the workout. I feel like I'm way more likely to pace myself and not overdo it, which is easy to do with dance where I just lose myself too easily.
Thanks for the review! Not sure if you’re taking recommendations, but I enjoy Christina Dorner’s videos. Specifically the low impact cardio ones, but her step videos seem to be popular too.

What was the bf baked thingy .. looked so yummy :D As an ardent caroline fan who has done most of her free youtube workouts, l would recommend trying one of her Iron Series workouts. She has an iron series in her new app too which I havent tried yet. The Iron series is more strength based with longer rest periods and minimal cardio.
Yeah, I never burn what she does but I know why. Lol so I never look at that. But love her fun personality and workouts! Definitely great for getting steps in!😂
@@JustinaErcole literally only movement type cardio I enjoy is dance or dance type workouts! I hate running and jumping for cardio, so I dance. My daughters and I love to clear the furniture and play Just Dance games on our wii for 45 minutes to an hour on the weekends! 🤣

I disagree on the calorie thing. It's hard to describe how intense a workout is and as you've said before, it's really misleading to put a certain number of calories in your title for the algorithm. This way, her regulars can compare different workouts she has and get a rough idea of how intense they will be, even if they aren't trying to lose weight.
You’re right, Caroline Girvan now has an app and you have to pay for it so…personally not subscribing to that. She’s good, I don’t have all the weights that she uses in my home, but can still get a workout. And she doesn’t que, just waves her hand and you follow her. She has a great body, I like her, but not my top five.

Zumba (I believe) is a copyrighted term and a specific latin-based brand! So you have to pay a fee to teach it. Similar to Kinstretch.
