Man that riff sounds so much like Novocain Stain by Modest Mouse for the first 10-20 seconds. Great vid and exploration of the pedal. Severely underrated channel imo.
This remarkable review convinced me to purchase this pedal and I don't regret getting one. I find it to have more usable tones than the Mini Universe and the Mariana, which I both have. The only mode I might not use is the flanged (#6) because I mainly play surf, rockabilly and garage rock n roll. Of course, the spring mode does not drip like crazy and sounds a bit artificial. Yet, used with my main reverb unit the Summer Reverb, made by Austin Microphones, the result is more than satisfactory. On the whole, I am very pleased with this unit.
@@PedalExperiments Amigo, vc entende de Pedal de compressão tb? Queria comprar 1 Pra Usar principalmente na Voz. (Lembrando q meu instrumento principal é o Piano/Teclado) - Eu olhei inicialmente o Kokko e os Rowin (tanto Normal quanto o Optico). O que vc acha deles? Qual melhor entre esses? Sugere algum outro? Valeu! 🙂
@recuperacaorecuperacao7329 Good point. Ok, out of the ones you mentioned, I'd go with the Joyo. It sounds great, and has a couple more unusual reverb modes, which I love.
@@PedalExperiments Really? I still think they are very connected. So in this case they took the morphing ideas from the mosky :o I don't know, they're pretty similar. It's amazing to have a cheaper version of something like that
Flanged / 6 is very trippy. Some Acid or LSD and this effect and you are very very far away. Don’t know where to use the effect. But it’s very interesting.
I think calling these algorithms "unusable" is a bit extreme, personally. They're perfectly serviceable effects, imo. But for sure, the quality of reverb at this level is always noticeably lower than that of the more expensive units, and once you've experienced high-end reverb, it's impossible to go back.

I'm not familiar with that track. I'll go look it up now!
Aw, thank you so much! I really appreciate kind words, and the support. 👍🏻

Thanks very much! Glad you found it useful, and I also appreciate you letting me know that it led to you buying one for yourself! 👍🏼
Cool demo. The playing gives me Greeny & Danny vibes, like an outtake from Then Play On.
Nicely played, as always!
Many thanks! 🙏🏼
The flanged verb vibrato type bit was very unique sounding!
EHX has a similar mode on some of their reverb pedals called "Flerb". Very fun to play around with!
The "Delay" mode sounds like Radiohead... Sounds great!!
💢Quais os melhores dentre o Cosmic Blue, Mini Universe, Joyo Atmosphere, Cuvave.. ?
(Pretendo usar no Teclado) 🙂
The actual answer is the Nu-X Verb Core. 😜
@@PedalExperiments Pq? 👀
Acabei de ver o Nux. Parece bom, mas é bem mais Caro.. ~ $100 🙄

@@recuperacaorecuperacao7329 Sorry, but I'm afraid I'm not really into compressors. The Nu-X Comp Core is really nice, though.
Hey Phil! It seems to be an imitation of the Pigtronix Cosmosis. It feels good at least having a morph knob
It isn't an imitation of anything that I'm aware of. Although I'm sure they've taken a couple of styling cues from the Strymon Timeline. 😄
@@PedalExperiments check the Cosmosis first
The Cosmosis came out after this one, so I'm pretty sure Mosky didn't base this on that pedal. 😄

@@shoseinenThe Strymon Nightsky has a morph control.
Seems like both pedals copied the Strymon.
Does it go 100% wet?
Yes.

Did you notice the buffer / boost LED is actually a pot for the amount of boost? Asking, because you didn’t demo the boost function. Or did I miss it?
Yeah, I think you did. 😅 I covered it around the 12:00 mark.
Sea sick ending with a NASA explosion. 😮😅
Thanks! It is clearly a no-brainer: every option sounds unusable! 🤷♂
The shimmer sound awful. Pity.
The M-Vave Mini Universe has much, much better sounding shimmer, is more tweakable, and it's cheaper.
I'll have to grab one!
@@PedalExperiments coincidentally, 60 Cycle Hum just released a video on it
Oooh, I'll go check it out. Thanks for the heads up 👍🏻
Meh, most of them are pretty unusable for me.
I'd be happy with a Sonicake Sonic Ambience instead.

Looks like too many knobs to play with
