  • How to make Japanese convenience store style Onigiri and wrapping.
this is addictive vegan Onigiri, can't stop eating.
The key is using plant based Japanese Dashi stock powder. this is essential for making Japanese vegan food.
In Japan we call this kind Onigiri as "Akuma no Onigiri" it means "devil's Onigiri". because it's addictive and can't stop eating.
the Onigiri was born at a convenience store in Japan, then many people started to make at home.
so, each family has their fillings. but main filling is always Tenkasu, it's Tempura bits, Aonori, green laver and noodle soup to taste. I used Konbu Dashi stock and soy sauce instead of noodle soup.

This is amazing! I always wondered how Onigiri wrappers work and now I learned how to make them at home. Thank you so much for teaching and sharing!

Thank you, I very much liked how you teached every step calmly and softly, that encouraged me to try it myself. I'm happy to learn about japanese ingredients. 🥰
