- My bear backpack is my new Convention go to bag when I'm not cosplaying and here's how I made it! I spent under $10 in supplies so that makes it that much better ^_^

OMG this tutorial is a lifesaver! I dislike brand teddy bear backpacks because they barely fit a phone. I wanted to make my own so it actually fits my things! Thanks so much for this video!
I know what you mean about brand teddy bear backpacks it's like all they expect you to keep in them is lip blam and a single sheet of folded paper.
@@rainbowredwood RIGHT? I have a Bat and he has WAAAAY too much Stuffing to fit hardly anything in there. Stuffing to keep fluffy, I get it... But if it's a PURSE/BACKPACK, you NEED a little leg room lmao.
Thinking of opening him up to take a little stuffing out. Same with my Bunny. It's like companies don't test their products or something and just ship em off for that $$$....
Either way, looking like we gotta improvise lol.
Tip: Instead Of Sowing your own pouch use a pencil case!!

Best tutorial so far! I wanted to make a bag for my daughter’s ballet stuff, she has TONS of stuffed animals so I knew I could make a bag from one of hers. I searched UA-cam and Pinterest for tutorials and yours was the best one yet! Thank you for sharing!

This is a really good and clear tutorial! Thank you for sharing! I've been looking for a plushie backpack, but all the ones online are not quite what I wanted, so I decided to see if I could make one myself. This is the best tutorial I've seen so far.
For washing and drying, put inside a pillowcase and low setting for dryer

They might but you're grown so do what you want. I typically wear the backpack at anime conventions because it's too big and hot for everyday use and it fits in in that environment.

How tall is the teddy bear.
I don't know I just got the largest and best looking one at the thrift store but this can be done with just about any size teddy bear. I'm 5'9", that might help for reference.

Probably but you shouldn't.
It would've been nice to actually show the parts when you hand sew cuz not a lot of us know how :/
There's alot of tutorials on how to hand sew out there. If had to teach people how to do the basics with every video they would be too long. My easiest videos are for beginners not someone who has hasn't started sewing yet. A good first project would a simple pillow.

Don't place stuffed animals in the dryer let them air dry.
@@maritzacordero7758 They can go in the dryer just on low or no heat which was my mistake. A bear that big needs to be put in the dryer after being washed because it would have taken to long to air dry and would have gotten moldy and smelled like mildew.
