- Watch as I make step by step, these adorable pants with 5 functioning pockets for my BTS Mattel doll (also fits most 11inch dolls!) and enjoy my first rough attempt at stop motion! LOL!
I create all my own patterns.
Materials:
•Recycled children's blue jeans (main fabric)
•Thin quilters cotton (front pocket lining)
•Thread
•Strong fabric glue
•Small brad or button

Wow, using a flat iron to make hems in doll clothes...great idea!!! (Anything to reduce the amount of times i iron my fingers....) The stop motion clip was adorable by the way. Lol. Great video (and using pattern pieces for pocket placement is bloody brilliant!)

I do not know if you are going to see this but how did you make the base pattern
Thank you so much for asking! I have a very long history of making human sized clothes and I already knew approximately what the pieces need to look like. I made some measurements of the doll and went through several mockups with light weight cotton. I just kept tweaking it until it fit like I wanted. 😊💜
The reason you don’t have more subs is because you don’t explain from time to time what you are doing and the video is way to fast even when slowed down..essentially making it non useful…if you would slow it down a bit maybe it would captivate the viewer and if you could explain it more even in subtitles like other do…otherwise it’s just a fast forwarded version to a finished product…essentially just show the end result in a 10 second video…just a tip..I just couldn’t follow it…even if you gave the pattern away no one could…unless one is a veteran seamstress…like you seem to be…😉
I'm so sorry my video wasn't helpful to you! The patterns (with illustrated instructions) that I offer are very detailed and are hopefully understandable for sewers of varying skill levels. I am relatively new to video making, but my videos are likely not ever going to win any awards! Lol! I will try to take your suggestions into consideration. 💜
