Hey coach how can i overcome fatigue ill do good the first 3 or 4 games and like the last game im usually super tired to score or try to even have the game come to me? How can i overcome getting tired and consistently play at my max
@@hardeepjaswal7112 You can't constantly play at your max if you're playing 3-4 games in a row. Just work with your body, limit any excess exercise, and recover as best you can. Coach S.
The thing with the jokes are so true like the best jokes sometimes just comes to you, and when you try to think of one it never happens, just like with basketball moves a good move just came to me today and im going to try it out too.
i agree,my best jokes have came the most natrually and have been the funniest. Also yeah same for basketball moves one day i tried a random move it was a tim hardway corssover, and i dont even watch tim hardway and thought hey this move might work if i try it and it was awesome I was hitting these layups.
I've always had the no stress cause the court is so calming, so I've always played with the mindset he talks about but some days the moves just come to you in a different way and you feel unguardable. I feel like I can only call this version of me out during the clutch and any other times I can't control.
I can’t even explain to you how much I needed this and how huge your content is for basketball players like myself and many more. Cant thank you enough for these videos
Hey I know you probably won't see this message, but I just wanna say your content helped me improve not only in basketball but also in life in general. I've been struggling with social anxiety and caring too much about what others think, your insights and advice helped to see a whole new perspective. I'm not quite over anxiety yet but i'm getting there, thank you so much for the videos you put out. You really helped me out so much, and I cant thank you enough.
Thank you for this, when I played d2 I was averaging 0 pts all season, but all of the sudden after I transformed I started getting 20 ppg, now I got to d1 i am only averaging 10 ppg and I can’t get more, I feel like 10 is my max. I really needed this thx also now when I play d2 games I got 40 pts (I play in Sweden btw)
To think that I've been watching you for this long, and I haven't seen this is crazy. Thank you for the help so far, and the help I know I will get from you in the future. I hope to continue seeing the great work and effort.
This video helped me realize that the lessons he's teaching are applied to more than just basketball, but life itself. I am about to turn 21 and I can feel a transformation within myself to that next level of maturity, adulthood, and responsibility. This helped me find the hesitations I've had within myself holding me back. My ex and I broke up last year about 2 weeks into starting university, and that whole year there I was miserable, smoking everyday to "calm" me down and help me "focus" on my work, and to my credit I did pass my classes (mostly due to professors being lenient towards us due to covid), and I never really got over her. Here now we're about a month away from our break-up anniversary and I am just finally realizing why I've been holding back. I've been scared to let her go, the perfect angel in my mind, the woman I was destined to marry, I can't let her go. But, just like Coach Taylor said, you have to let that old version of yourself die and become something much much greater. Thank you if you read this far, I didn't mean for it to be a whole book but I am a little stoned right now haha ;P
Using this knowledge as a soccer player, has helped me immensely understand what to do mentally to improve and finally play like the player I know I can be, the best. I love you man, you saved me god bless you.❤️
Anytime I play with my friends or people am free with I always make 3s but if I play with people I don't I make 3s but just a few so it seems I have to work on my confidence THANK YOU ALOT!!!!

Thank you tons, i will use this for everything else in my life, my schoolwork, my music writing, my social life, everything. This blew my mind thank you so much. Should we do this repeatedly on the same transformation?
Glad it worked for you. Which exercise are you talking about in particular? It has been a while since I've watched this video, and we've had shared many exercises. Simon DeepGame

Hey ! Realy good video like everytime (I realy love what you’re doing) I have a question about my workouts. Should I train one skill at the time until I masterise it then move on an other (for exemple: long lounge pull-up jumper, then long lounge fake pickup, etc) like Drew Hanlen says on every UA-cam video and interviews, or should I train multiple game situation moves and drills every workout like on the pure sweat basketball app (where you have 15 drills by workout) ? (I’m french so I hope what I’m writting is clear)
I went from my cities development team probably one of the worst to the captain of the team above it in a single year so I can say I've made a decent transformation but I( still want to get better.
Didn't watch the video yet, but I totally stopped playing basketball for 2 months cause of a knee injury, came back and I just didn't remember my jumpshot, discussed this with my coach and in 3 months ( now), I made a jumpshot from 0 and, at the moment, I'm a really consistent shooter. Sorry for the grammar
Hi, I was wondering how long the meditations afterwards are supposed to be when you finish the guided one on youtube (so the unguided ones)? You also mentioned that after meditating for a while, you will automatically get "in the zone". I'm not entirely sure about that, but is there maybe a specific way to do that before practises/games? I would like if you made a video about pregame routines and maybe make one for us. Also, should I still sometimes do the looking at a basketball meditation and when you mentioned taking time off every once in a while from basketball completely, does that mean taking time off completely from other training as well? Thanks for everything.
I have a question some one help me. Today I just gave up on trying to score but in return I didn’t try to score and ended up with 2 points. After the game I noticed that I didn’t care that much cuz I gave up on it but it’s still lingering in my mind if it would have been different if I tried to score.(what do I do to score more)
Trying not to score in order to score is still trying. The idea is to let go of the attachment in your mind, not to actually not even try on the basketball court. You do this by 1. observing the need of your mind and emotions to score, and 2. meditating. Coach S.
