I have a lexmoto lsn 2023 and it's got the rs4 125cc engine inside identical to yours but just different rocket covers and I have put all the timing to top dead centre and made it so that the valves align with the wholes but my bike cranks and doesn't fire, what do you think that this could be ?
@BigBoyzToyz1974 that's understandable sorry for late reply was doing some research to see what it could be but I could never actually find something that it could be I'm still learning and I don't want to take it to a garage since I know my local ones will rip me off
I did all the mods when I first got it but they don’t really make any difference. I have different size tyres and swapped to radials 140/60 rear 110/70 front but try to stick with 100/80 front 110 makes the front heavy to steer. I would just keep it stock mate only thing that really made a big difference was engine oil motul 300v 5w40 makes it pick up quicker and slicker gear change 👍
Yh I won't be doing anything to it. It's already got the short Scorpion exhaust which sounds nice. Don't know what else has been done to it. Sure 70 is the advertised top speed though. Unless the previous owner weighed the same as a horse jockey and he was going down a massive hill 🤣 had a 1999 rs 125 before but I commute 40 miles a day and it was rinsing me on fuel and oil
For some reason my rs4 125 doesnt pick up enough revs to get past 5th gear it can barely pick up enough rpm to get past 4th and when in 5th the rpms barely rise at all the bike wont go past 60mph really. Do you know what could possibly be causing this? Cheers mate
First thing I would make sure it has standard gearing 14/60 be good for 74mph. Then I would check the timing make sure that’s set right. Check valve clearance they can be tight out the factory. What year and how many miles on the bike…
@@BigBoyzToyz1974 its a 2014 model and got 14k miles on it. The guy i bought it off said he messed about with the gearing so ill change that and also ill check the clearances👍
@@dreamzv52.05 put a bottle of seafoam through the tank it will get rid of any water and give the whole system a good clean it really does work one bottle should do 2 full tanks of fuel it will smoke when using but de chokes everything 👍👍
@@BigBoyzToyz1974 ive changed to standard gearing done full service used sea foam and still only getting 60 next thing is to check the valve clearance i guess
Glad I've recently found this channel. Absolutely love my RS4, Quick question irrelevant to this video but do you think its possible to install a fuel gauge, I've noticed the bike only has a sensor light. I'm alittle old school and like to see my fuel levels 😁
Thanks for the comment. No unfortunately this has been tried and I don’t think there has been any successful attempts but I will try in the future see if there is a solution 👍
Your video was outstanding and solved my lads clutch issue after removing the crank case to replace the mechanical water seal .
Thank you so much for your feedback really appreciated 👍
Salut Big boy ✌️
Merci encore pour tes vidéos RS4 Aprilia !
Continue comme ça, toujours intéressant à regarder.
Merci l'ami!🤙✌️👍

No idea it could be multiple things impossible to diagnose from a message

Having problems finding neutral, can go through other gears fine. Is this normal with the rs4?
Yes the return spring on the gear.selector is notoriously weak on these engines.
You're an absolute legend mate. What mods you done to yours? I've just bought a 2018 gp rep. Has registered 83 as its top speed before me.

@@No-mn3bw yes 74mph is standard on a stock Rs4 81-84 with +1 tooth on front sprocket I keep mine stock as I weigh 17st and it struggles after 65mph 😂
Think I need new plates. Just tried to look online and can't find em anywhere. Where do you get your parts from? Just brings up 2 stroke engine stuff
