They are so ...EPIC !! This song brings me to tears every time. The power in the words, the power in their voices, the power in the emotions and message. Then you add the cohesiveness of their voices and the flow of the rhythms is just so Heavenly perfect. I love how you commend them for their professionalism and selflessness and pure love of music. That IS what makes them so GREAT. I agree that the ending of a song needs to be static so as to process and sink in to the listeners mind and heart. Really, ANY performance needs that. Especially music.
I love the way Pentatonix has always been structured, where they can do solo projects but always have their "family " group. As a casual singer myself, I absolutely LOVE singing in a group that sounds great so I'm sure that is also why they stay together. I hope they are still together and performing for 40 more years!!
Shawka!Dude!! Wasn't that amazing??? Pentatonix never disappoints. Two other songs where Kevin has a solo is "Imagine" and "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)". They are both very good as well. Definitely worth a reaction. I love how music touches people. It can make you cry, laugh, and think. Thank you for a great reaction. You always do it right. You are awesome!! Hope you are doing well. Sending you love from Texas!!❤❤❤
This was on the early side for Kevin's singing voice. He gets better and better! Well, miraculously, they all do. Craziness. How do you get better than this? Kevin really lets it rip when they do this live these days.
I love your reactions. I love the lighting in the 2nd half of the video, especially around Kirstin. Kevin has incredible music talent. This is one of my favorites. Please react to Kevin’s solo of a Marian Hill cover “Down” It is spectacular
Oh, yes! In the second half of the song, the way they frame Kirstie with the opening of the cave and the light, it almost perfectly matches the shape of her head and it looks like the classic depiction in art of Mary with a halo. Perfect!
Kevin is incredibly versatile. He can also sing baritone. What a range! They also care about each other. Many of their videos you can see them watching each other as the other sings with smiles on their faces. They still appreciate each other's voices. In the live version of "Seasons of Love" they look adoringly at each other as they sing a solo part. So cool!
One of my favorite versions of this song. It’s beautiful in their live shows as well. 🎅🎄 I’ve listened to it many times and it gives me the chills every time.
Kevin has spoken of the fact that early on in the group’s career, he and Avi would share a room and Avi would teach him how to say, and made him feel more confident in his singing.
If you want to really cry(it gets me every single time!), I cannot recommend enough the version of this song by Voctave and Mark Lowry. It's super intense!
YES! Mark is the man who wrote the lyrics to this beautiful song and hearing him sing it with Voctave's angelic voices accompanying him... I'm pretty sure it's a glimpse into what Heaven sounds like.
Love this! Thanks for your Pentatonix reactions. If you like this song you might also like a version done by Tomi P and Casper Fox. Very different but also gives you chills!

This is so powerful that Kirsty's candle kept changing from real flame to fake, because she kept blowing it out.

Check out their 12 days of Christmas to hear Kevin's high pitch voice. Beautiful reaction❤❤

Great reaction; sometimes you just need to enjoy the perfection.
So beautiful!
Kevin can actually sing higher than Mitch. There are videos that Mitch states this. Kevin is unbelievable and such an asset to the group.
Imagine and Amazing Grace are two other wonderful examples of Kevin’s voice ☺️

Recommend their video of O Holy Night.
