I’d love to do this when I get out of the military, especially cuz I’m from the exact area. The beauty of the nature is unparalleled to everywhere I’ve been ❤ this would be a dream come true to serve my community back home ❤️

I have always wondered why Game Wardens do not wear "hunters orange" when afield? It seems to me that along with their tactical gear they now wear, it would be for safety and to set a good example afield especially for younger hunters. I see too many hunters these days especially younger guys in their expensive Sitka or Kuiu gear and big expensive backpacks with no "hunters orange". I know this is one of the most common game violations these days and I think the wardens could set a good example by wearing orange when in the field with hunters. Just my opinion from an old Montana sportsman, hunting guide and retired Army combat medic that has seen first hand what firearm injuries, gun shot wounds can do to the human body. "Hunters Orange" is for your safety when afield, please wear it for you and for others in the outdoors.

That’s not the point “of setting a good example” the point is catching those who break the law so by wearing the green and beige colors they can sneak up on poachers and others who are breaking the law. Remember they’re law enforcement not example enforcement.

They willingly don't so they can catch poachers. That's a big load they take. Walking up on people who massively outarm you has to take some gumption.

I've met these guys when Pawpaw and I would go every other year for elk. Just as nice and professional as back home in TN.

What handguns are the wardens armed with?
