No more barrel plug charger, uses proprietary plug

And the LPDDR5X memory is confirmed to be "onboard" as of the press release (and industry common practice as well)
RAM is upgradable up to 32GB, SSD also upgradable but upgraded SSD has a speed limitation now.
They copied Lenovo design with the back housing cooler and the way branding on the lid works “legion, LOQ, tuf etc “. However added their bs of soldered ram on a 16inch chassis. Couple that with shit warranty and rma support and you have to be an idiot to buy this.

@@jihadrouani5525 Actually they don't. Their flagship Zephyrus series don't have upgradable RAM either. I don't mind mind soldered RAM, but there should be option to have 64GB RAM too. 32GB is too low.

Don't do it, stay with the A15, that A15 has upgradeable RAM, this A16 (2024) hasn't, i have one of the last A16 2024 with upgradeable RAM.

Nice looking. If only it was just the stealthy TUF logo on the lid without writing that would have been elegant masterpiece for budget gamers. Actually… The design is asymmetrical now?! Like it’s been carved by black market cyberpunk techman rather than built in high precision military complex like previous iterations of TUF series.

Report rate and latency of touchpad are really gimmicky. Gaming on touchpad is nearly impossible because of inherent movement lag. Touchpads on budget laptops MUST BE REQUIRED to press consistently, smoothly and have good enough material.
Thunderbolt 4 lacking and changed charging port?! Hopefully getting replacement charger is not a nightmare after 5 years of owning such a solid tanky laptop. Thunderbolt docks and eGpus are very attractive features. Is it even compatible now?..
