This one part is really good but the meaning of the song would be lost if it was just this. The calming and peaceful tone of the song at the beginning and end brings depth and a nice melody, so the full song is really good.

I was thinking it could sound cool if you directly connected "It sounded like a freight train was dragging me to hell" with "And this was my prayer", taking out the interlude between them to change things up! I think they could fit together with the right audio transition.
The whole song iss such a story, with its own sense and conclusions, it reminds me of a whole book or movie. The tornado moment is so colorful and loud, I can almost imagine it 🥺 Perfect song
