@@mrmangbro6842 uh yeah it gives you 100 energy AND also increases your max energy. So you get 100 energy back (a refund) and you also get an increase of max energy (up to a total of 300).
Sooooo in short, a refund + an increase of max energy
It wouldn’t be a refund if you only got a max energy increase, but since you also get 100 energy, it is.

I seriously miss when Akali could Q mid E dash. That was prime Akali time
I knew all of them. Theres also another mechanic: if u cast your shroud at the corner of the bot lane terrain and press E backwards, then recast, you can skip the whole terrain, which normally you couldn't with just pressing E forward, but i think you need to stand there face against the wall and have your cursor on the tree there in order to expand your shroud outside the wall so you can land it.

“The shroud grows toward nearby enemy champions” dawg the shroud grows toward EVERYTHING outside of it in EVERY direction unless it’s blocked by something
both are correct, it does expand as well as proceed toward enemy
Last is actually wrong. He shrouded in front of a wall, so the smoke on the other site gets blocked by the wall, but you can see that the sides grow as much as it does towards the enemy
no, as an akali main its true that the shroud will grow towards the enemy even your shroud is not near the wall, also if you cast it near the wall it just normally do collision with the wall, and lastly when there is no vision of an enemy when using shroud it will only expand and widens til the timer runs out
It's also a skill shot of sorts, the shroud doesn't spawn directly underneath you.
Spawning it near certain terrain like between the river wall and chicken will make the shroud go crazy (not sure if this is still a thing).
The shroud lasts longer with level, something I tend to forget.
You can still be tracked through it when moving near enemy champions.
If you land E1 on a target and the die inside your shroud, your shiruken will fall in the shroud and you can E2 to its location still.
You can use it to leave base quicker while waiting to regen at fountain.
You can cancel enemy certain champions' ults, abilities and even ahto attack if you shroud at the right time (did it once against ksante ult).
Canceling auti attack while in shroud reveals you still (i think, it works for evelynn while invis).
Shroud drops minion aggro instantly which gives akali advantage at lvl2.
Receiving buffs from teammates that are a projectile of sorts gives away your position inside shroud but doesn't reveal you.
Ignite doesn't reveal you in shroud (If my memoy serves right).
The shroud grows in its natural circle and it will go along walls if there’s a surface blocking the natural circle , so your shroud will attempt to spread regardless ; the “ grow to players “ thing is wrong

@@Ineedabigboi1771 Can't double check rn, but I'm pretty sure Shaco invis doesn't break during tp and Teemo can TP while invisible in a bush.
@@teabirb teemo actually can't, not completely. He gets revealed by using tp and then it takes i think 3 seconds? To turn invis again, so it's kind of useless for tp, but good for back

the shuriken can actually disappear before the shroud, it lasts the duration that you can hold your e
you can cast all summoner spells, not just tp, without revealing yourself in akali's shroud
bonus: the movement speed from casting shroud begins decaying from the moment you cast it, but works even if you leave the shroud
with your bonus tip #1, are you saying that if you chuck your E from one side of the smoke to the other, so that the E gets to fly its max distance and runs out inside the smoke, then the additional smoke puff will stay down for slightly longer than your ability to recast E, roughly equal to the travel time?
@@pinnacleexpress420 yes, it will maintain the shroud spot(but wont conceal you) where the shuriken lands even after the shroud vanishes. if the shroud disappears and you recast the moment before the recast duration expires, you will travel the full distance

One more that is extremely important is that shroud is a targeted ability meaning that you can make the center a bit in front of you or behind you to control where the smoke will expand from. This especially important when escaping because if you have your cursor on the enemy while pressing w, then the range where you can walk undetected away from the enemy becomes significantly smaller

It doesn't expand to near ennemy champ, it expands to the direction u lend the shroud
Actually you forgot the secret mechanic with Akali's shroud where if you're the enemy laner against Akali you just hit the disconnect button and remember to ban her in your next game
Here is another secret mechanic: Did you know Anivia’s ult grows towards the enemy?
Imagine alkali shroud also applies nearsight and reduce % armor. But reduced E damage, she would be OP.

I have a question: If I'm inside the smoke and the shuriken hits an enemy champion outside of the shroud, if I recast, am I going to the smoke or to the enemy?
Huh i have tried teleport in shroud many times and its not as simple as u say.
From my experience when u are in shroud if u use teleport u appear for a bit and then dissapear

I think the E being able to go to her shroud was one of the primary reasons they backloaded so much of her damage on the E2.
People could cast W, E backwards to gap close and leave behind their escape, then trade with impunity before dashing back to safety.
Tbh, I much preferred Akali when she was a skirmisher, not an assassin.

Wanna be Yuumi assassin.
All the untargetability and choice to play the game or not but instead of the cute harmless cat. You get a zero skill outside of her E character that.. unlike most other assassins who actually needs to get ahead to 100 to 0 enemies Akali on the other hand is one of the yuumi assassins who takes zero skill so much so they can be going 2/7 and be 2 levels behind and still have ZERO issues 100 to zeroing you with a single spell rotation.
Honestly remove shroud if not nerf its interactions.
IMO You shouldn't be allowed to use shroud offensively at all, period
