What an incredible game, what an incredible 2nd half fightback by Blackpool in a full blooded derby that had everything! 6 GOALS! 2 red cards, a 22 man brawl as Appleton’s men show incredible mental strength to pull back Burnley's 2 goal cushion.

Lee and Jane your channel is so so special the coverage you bring to us is amazing, how different it is these day with social media, UA-cam. My highlight in the 70’s was queuing up at the players entrance on Bloomfield Road for an autograph of my favourite player(s)and if you were really lucky you may even be allowed to collect autographs from the away players too. Due to change of circumstances I’m more of an armchair supporter these days, but I really like what both of you do and the sterling work you do for Blackpool Supporters on a whole. UTMP. Thank you.
Hi John thanks and yes I often think how much my dad would have loved what we do he would tape anything about Blackpool even if it was just a 1 minute feature on Granada Reports and watch it over and over. He would always be checking teletext etc. He wouldn't believe the amount of coverage now with what we do and others and Tangerine TV its amazing isn't it?

That was simply an amazing performance by Blackpool today Lee. At 3-1 I really feared it could get really ugly, but what they achieved was amazing and they could have easily gone on and won the game. All credit to the players and Appleton for turning things around. Blackpool are going to do just fine this year Lee, no fears of relegation at all after these two outstanding away performances this week.

When the 2nd one went in I said to Jane this is going to be a long afternoon but it wasn't it was simply wonderful to watch. Play like this every week and we will be in no trouble
What a shocker! I saw it from beginning to end and it had everything. Goals, fights, pyros and fans singing and chanting.

This fixture was a classic in the the 1960s when I started watching the Pool…great comeback and proves you must never lie down when losing..just like Matthews Mortensen Mudie etc the team showed courage..also there seems to be a good spirit amongst the lads…also credit to the manager too. 4 points on the road last week in a tough division..
yes indeed I loved to see that fighting spirit. Many expected 0 points from those two fixtures so they have done very well 🙂👍🏻
The boys performed like superheroes in that second half and fully deserved the comeback, I do believe we actually could’ve won you know, a few missed chances in both halves that on another day could’ve gone in but I suppose we can’t be too greedy can we aha.
So pleased that Yates and Lavery both got on the score sheet as well and good to see Theo get off the mark as well. I mean, only real disappointment was some horrendous defending obviously in’t first half honestly I couldn’t believe what I was watching at times, some experienced defenders in that back line getting the run around which was really poor and it gives you a mountain to climb at the other end, I think we were 3-1 down after like half an hour or something like that? Mental....
Anyway great effort in the end to rescue a point and another great day all round, think Huddersfield is the next away day early September and we’re due a win against them, come on pool
Yes I thought we should have won it in the end too and agree its great to see Yates and Lavery on the score sheet hopefully that kick starts their respective seasons.
4 points out of those 2 games is very impressive hope they take this form in to Saturday at home
1-3 down to bounce back with two goals for mine felt like a win if that makes any sense Lee. I'm a spiritual person too Jane, I don't want to jinx anything so I'm not going to make any predictions but what I can say is that your team showed fantastic mental strength and spirit to get back into this game.

Another great watch , totally agree with what you said about Appleton, he's now showing what a good tactician and motivator he is , that would never happen under critch certainly not against Burnley!,, the game Jane talked about was a classic I was there that night and took my girlfriend now wife to that on a date , and still together , keep up the good work you two
Wow Paul what a great memory what an awesome first date you will certainly never forget that night and yes I agree Critch would never have got us back in that fashion I just think about how meekly he surrendered to a very poor PKE side last season it was embarrassing.
He is a good manager with a lot of experience there is no reason why he won’t succeed with this team because we are a good team we saw what they were capable of last season.

Me and Roy noticed Jane's football punditry is top notch. Wouldn't go amiss on BBC football programme. Our Millwall lost 2 nil at Norwich. But like Pool will keep battling. Both us made good enough start to season. We follow our Frank's Feyenoord today. Yesterday was definitely a key result for Pool. Deeeelighted. It was a good draw for Blackpool away against Burnley when they draw 3 - 3 and i think Blackpool will get back to winning ways against Bristol City at home next weekend lee and Jane

Yes I figured it would be a painful watch Dan letting a 2 goal lead slip but we really stepped in up 2nd half. We were disappointed we couldn't go on to win it but can't argue with the draw. It's only half time 😉🙂

The game Jane refers to at the end was a 1-1 draw second last game season 1992/93. Preston lost 4-1 vs Mansfield that day and were relegated whilst we stayed up. The chant of "4 points less and 1 game left" started.
I remember that game, except it was 2-2 and we came back from 2-0 down. Big Dave Bamber on the scoresheet. Lee Martin in the Pool goal saved a penalty at 2-2. Lost my voice that day.

All that joy and emotion at the equaliser...then imagine the goal being wiped off two minutes later for some perceived infringement. That's why VAR is sucking the life out of the game and hopefully it will never be used below the Prem. By the look of it, though, there was some shocking officiating in this game. Think their delayed red was because they didn't want to get the wrong guy. The Carey red was scandalous.
yes it was I hope they overturn it John. Controversially VAR overturned a red this afternoon for exactly the same thing so if we had have had it yesterday we may have had 11v10 and WON. It is not black and white but I get what you mean
